It hurts so bad to watch Ellie shut him down even though he just wants to care for her and seeing the whole thing and watching her descent into madness because she does not have him there to keep her calm and it also specifically breaks my heart a little because I grew up with my dad in jail and our mom not being enough of an adult to care for us and Ellie basically had a chance and she pushes the only parent figure away
I love Ashley Johnson, (Ellie’s voice actor) she said she relates to the character a lot, you can watch her do an interview ‘between the sheets with Ashley Johnson’ she talks about the game.

A couple months ago, rumors were coming out that ND was rushing the game and compromising their dev’s mental health with long hours that would turn into overtimes. That’s why the story seems good in some places and bad in other places. They rushed on many parts and I honestly don’t understand why they gave a release date so early. Had they released it on the PS5, they would have had enough time to actually make the story flow better and not feel too forced like it did.

They can feel textures but temperatures usually don't bother horses too much. Plus sounds are big scary to a lot of them 😂 my guy is terrified of puddles

The story was that Ellie’s obsession over Abby and wanting revenge is taking its toll on her and it’s bringing out a darker side of her, not only that but her actions are showing that they have serious consequences in the end. It symbolizing to not get so caught up in revenge. So saying it’s not logical and doesn’t make sense really isn’t correct in my mind

A couple months ago, rumors were coming out that ND was rushing the game and compromising their dev’s mental health with long hours that would turn into overtimes.
That’s why the story seems good in some places and bad in other places. They rushed on many parts and I honestly don’t understand why they gave a release date so early. Had they released it on the PS5, they would have had enough time to actually make the story flow better and not feel too forced like it did.
