Very excited for future of MLC and Cricket in USA ❤️🙏 Remember, all other leagues have been around for decades in US, it takes time and patience. Consistent growth.

This is good Cricket and baseball can learn techniques from each other to be better sports. People not know but fielding in Cricket improved a lot when Australian team in the 1980s and 1990s hired American baseball coaches to help them with their fielding as well as other strategies. This helped Australia become the best cricket team in the world in the 1990s. Maybe Cricket can help a baseball team win a world series.
The only thing we got from baseball was the flat throw in to the wicket and that was from Australian cricketers that played baseball off season [Ian Chappell Bob Simpson] They never had American Coaches out here. How the hell are US baseballers who use gloves going to teach a team who fields with both hands and catches with both hands . It is foreign to ALL baseballers including coaches
Did you know they did the reverse in Sydney when Major League Baseball came to Australia in 2014 to open the season when the LA Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks came to the Sydney Cricket Ground?
I think baseball has always had a bit of a following in Australia. Its the only cricket nation where Baseball is followed and played at a good level. That without any input from immigrants from America. Its just that Aussies have always Admired America and want to emulate them and long time ago followed and mastered American sports. People might not know before becoming a cricketer former Australian batsman Allan Border was a baseball player. So was another former cricket Ian Chappell. This is normal in Australia they are big fans of Americana. Last time I was in Australia as I was going to attend the last day of the Ashes at the MCG. I heard a couple of Aussies remark "Cricket is so boring. Baseball is so much better than Cricket!" This is after the aussie team is the most successful team in cricket and their team had just thrashed England 4-1. Go figure. Only conclusion I can come away with is. Many Aussies love their Americana and love their Baseball over Cricket.
@@rohanmarkjay Emulate America I do not think so. In what pray tell. Those cricketers only played baseball to keep fit in the OFF Season They did not love it. You heard bloody nothing, no cricketer would ever say that Test Cricket is boring. And My friend the NFL is not that popular in Australia We have NRL AFL Rugby and Football that are more popular I doubt you have even been here.
Glen Maxwell had 200 not out in the current World Cup ODI Saved Australia he won it in his own. If they want to get ahead, show him doing it on one leg. Yes on one leg he had severe cramps.

Don't worry most Americans are not into cricket. However south asian community in U.S. is strong and there is no guarantee that the South Asian community in America won't produce a very good and skillful USA cricket team. Of course it will be made up of mostly south asians who moved to the U.S. recently from south asia. But that is a moot point.

How did it go ? Cricket is completely different than baseball and it will take years for the US to be ready for Test Cricket

Its very much an Indian diaspora thing
That is what I am afraid of. If there are too many from the sub continent many US people will not attend or watch

Cricket is a tired game if India, Australia, New Zealand and England are not there.
Not for Classic Users who like Test..
Not yet, let them get it off the ground with the fast type T20 even one day cricket will be too slow for a people who like a fast game

I don't want a USA cricket team. Do they possess the, rip your hair out kind-of class? Furthermore, I don't want them to win. A minor point.
