Werner Ag, established in 1960, is a family farm operation based in rural Hanna, IN. The TH-cam channel and social media pages are run by Keith Werner, the third generation of Werner Ag.
Werner Ag raises Corn, Soybeans, Winter Wheat and Cereal Rye Cover Crop Seed. The farm has done No-Till farming practices since the early 1980s and continues to increase acres of cover crops year to year. The farm operation also provides custom farming services such as Tillage, Planting, Sidedressing and Harvesting.
Outside of the farm operation, Werner Ag includes a Pioneer Seed dealership that was acquired over 30 years ago and also a Logan Agri-Yield Micronutrient Sales division that was acquired in 2020 providing micronutrient products for every application.

Heck that came from up the road, that's cool to see....wonder if it was a co-op unit from CPI. Coming out of Minden it ran some very smooth ground for the most part anyway.
I ran an Rg1300B Rogator in Eastern Nebraska for a coop and you have no idea how much you'll love the ventilated seat during post.
Special john deere, all I hear when I hear that is "slap another coat of green paint on it and jack the price up", darn company.

I got the pleasure of seeing a R4045 sprayer back in & March & April 2014 before this unit was even introduced by Deere at Wright Implement down on Williamsport.

The sprayer also has auto boom adjust to keep it from hitting the ground & stay at a set height
The sprayer looks really good. Looks like it's going to be a snug fit getting in the shed there. Hope it does an excellent job.

That thing is a force multiplier! Do you think you will pick up any custom spraying? I built 2 monster planters and ended up planting 8k acres of soybeans for other guys. We started out with such a perfect planting season, then it got really cold again and started raining, creating a little panic. They weren't jumping the gun, because right at the time we finished up planting our own fields, we're getting a solid week of rain.
There's a good possibility we will pick up some wheat and y drop acres for custom work
That's a awesome machine very nice
You will find there is a ton of redundant switch's, that is so an applicator can run the machine anyway they like. The Gen 4 hydro handle allows you to do most operations. One thing we found is when the boom pins on the outer section of boom assembly is broke you need to replace both the pin and bushings or the boom pins will break again in a short time
I hope you have enough room for your sprayer in your machine shed?
Do you plan on doing some custom spraying with this new rig?
There's a pretty decent possibility I would. Potentially on wheat acres for guys that have smaller booms that want less tracks and also y drop when we put y drops on this for sidedressing.

Sprayed 30000 acres a year with a older4940for several years so you shouldn't have to spray but about two weeks ahead.

I,m not doubting that Deere charge $7000 for the auto lube system but one of those auto lube units complete is way under £1000 here in UK and the pipies and distribution blocks would,nt add much to that just shows the ridiculous mark up that big manufacturers levy
