Exactly what I felt. I have always said this and will say it again- aviation is at its best when in a light aircraft! I miss my nav solo days, not the 16 hours polar crossing I do every week. I will have to do this with my brother. Thank you for the inspiration!
I thought that I wouldn't watch more than 10 minutes of it and I ended up watching the whole thing... It is so inspiring to see what they've have done with a small plane like that!!
It is incredible you two guys survived that flight. As a flight instructor I found myself at many points in this story with a dropped jaw, shaking head, and a fist bump when I found out it was a happy ending. The ADM (Aeronautical Decision Making) was horrendous but like you said, this was an adventure. Incredible story. Incredible adventure!
I watched the whole video, at the end I almost felt touched, without a doubt it was the craziest thing that two human beings can think of doing, you two are an inspiration to all the people out there. Greetings from Italy
As a pilot myself, flying long haul across the world with a big jet, I only imagine the joy and adventure it must of been. With this video, you have made me proud to be a South African just as you. We are a strong nation filled with strong people and I want to sincerely congratulate you on your achievement. You have made us proud and I wish you only the best of luck, prosperity and health. Who knows, maybe I'll be lucky to fly a sling one day😎
You all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Cason Nelson Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Tracked you both daily during this epic journey and so good to see the video of all 40 days. Wonderful to share in the moments. Great video combination. Well done to the Production Team.
Building, designing and flying your own aircraft around the world? You have to be ridiculously brave. My congratulations and that too from the bottom of my heart. I'll never forget this story. What a happy ending!
Watching this has given me so much pride for being a South African. You two have opened my eyes to just what people can accomplish if one has that unrelentless burning desire. Also watching this makes me want to get into the Aviation Industry. Cheers guys
I had tears of joy 🥲 at the end how incredible this man are how much they love aviation an there country South Africa 🇿🇦 we definitely need more people like them in this world.

Absolutely Loved the story and the friendship of these two guys. As a long distance cyclist I can understand bit of madness of wanting to do this. I love these guys ... would will be better place if people are chasing their dreams as these people are doing. Not hurting anyone and having Fun.
To design and build a single engine plane of this caliber and in these circumstances is extraordinary; to then fly it around the world is incredibly courageous. What is poignant is the development of a deep friendship. Thank you.
Riveting antigravity catapulting out of comfort zone captivity. Ace film of ace adventurers, shared risk, trust and friendship. Thanks for posting, Lloyd de Shifty. Long live !

It took the algorithm 4 years to find out this is what I want!
TH-cam actually has a search box in case you were wondering
The convos with the airlines are just amazing!!! Airlines pilots probably be like “damm those are some pilots with real balls” 🔥
