Hi, guys. Well, I finished the trio of videos and learned more than I ever know about Southwest Africa. The people are the stars of the show. They were so great. Of course, I love the little airplane too, as I should, given that it made all of this possible. Great photographer as well. Thanks for sharing! Stay healthy!
This was so awesome to watch. Even my wife enjoyed it and she's not into flying like I am. The production is so well done and all your efforts came through perfectly. I really hope you guys produce more of these, I can't wait to see more... Thanks for doing this...
Absolutely love you guys ! Thanks for wonderful story! Shared your channel to my friend, we are thinking to buy our first plane and Hopefully(oh please, Lord) one day we will fly to you and shake your hands beautiful people 🤝
Beautiful! It's funny, I found myself thinking about the third person who was there all along to do the filming (and in the end, there he is, the man behind the camera. That was funny!). Still, excellent production and incredible images of an astonishing beautiful place. The sense of adventure and the humor affect us. Greetings from Lisbon!
How about something like a Stol-Sling for that Africa trip? I know nothing about planes, but can just see you guys landing in the most ridiculous places... Lol!
😊 We were 2 aerie indeed. The second one actually did just the same as the first. And it had our test pilot, Sean, flying, with our mate Lloyd Ross who filmed as we went. Then he edited what you see. He also had a pretty cool time though. Personally I think the footprints were Sean's, but he denies it!
I enjoyed the hell out of this and the other videos on this channel! It’s been so inspirational to me and really has inspired me to get a PPL and fly around the world. Out of curiosity how was the filming done? Is there a cameraman along with you guys as well recording from a distance and from another plane or are those drone shots?
There was a 2nd plane which had myself shooting and later editing the episode, and sometimes a producer who doubled as an assistant. Very few drone shots, as this was filmed in the early days of droning, but had a couple gopros attached to wings and in the cockpit.
Easily one of the best series’s I have watched. Thanks for the inspiration

It’s pretty obvious he had a two-man camera crew
Imagine if the plane engine failed to start on the island...
What do you do then?
I believe there was another crew airplane with them. But they did such a good job making it seem as if they were alone out there...
Yeah, that's my dream too,to circumnavigate Mama Africa.
Are you sure those arent the cameraman’s footprints
I’m just wondering if we’re supposed to ignore that an entire camera crew was with them lol
Song title in the beginning please?
Of Part 3? That's Paxi Ni Ngongo by and Angolan artist called Bongo. One of his early ones.
How the fuck did they generate electricity on the island... fish fat?
