At this intersection, every traffic signal is fully symbolic with shaped lenses! Arrows for green indications, a diamond for yellow indications, and a square for red indications!
Northbound and southbound have a 6-section signal that displays 3 green arrows all at the same time! A left turn green arrow, a through green arrow, and a right turn green arrow! I just find it so cool and fancy to see, especially that they're not generally that common in North America! Northbound and southbound operate as split phasing.
Don't worry, the pedestrian buttons are all working properly the way they should here! I have a video of the full cycle coming up soon. I just wanted to start with some good video angles of the triple green arrows.
If the pedestrian button is pushed, the right turn green arrow will not be displayed during the walk interval, which is why I waited for cycles where nobody wanted to cross to get these videos!

This is about Toronto but the protected/permissive left turn is dangerous. Also how do you go between Quèbec City and Toronto so much? 😮

I only took 2 trips to Quebec within the last year.
      August 20th-29th 2023 and
      April 24th-May 1st 2024.
I videotaped hundreds of intersections and hundreds of gigabytes during these trips, and I scheduled them bit by bit at a time when I scheduled videos from Toronto.
When it comes to protected vs permissive left turns, I think you'd like Quebec, because they'll minimize permissive left turns and maximize use of fully protected left turns.

@@jacksonbourrettransportati9852 Interesting! Very well spaced out. Good to hear that Quèbec have fully protected ones often:)

@@nswtrains3153 Yeah! Not just that, Quebec provincial standards require intersections with dedicated left turn lanes to be equipped with its own fully protected left turn signal head! Without a dedicated left turn lane, split phasing will often be used (depending on the type of roads and which city it's in).

@@jacksonbourrettransportati9852 I see! Here in Aus we mostly just do solid green lights with a green arrow that turns on if there’s a queue to turn
