I'm pretty sure I told you this before, but I had a 1972 Charger with a 440 Magnum. The seats were white and it had the same slap-shift shifter as the one in the video. It had a factory 8 track player, pedestal mounted in front of the center consul. I put headers on it and Appliance wire mags. G60-14's on the back. It was white with a black bubble hood with red and chrome "440 Magnum" on both sides of the black bubble. I had a lot of fun in that car. Thanks JC!
It's an SE RT Rallye lol. I understand making a car your own but I would remove the R/T badging and hood decal. YOu have to keep explaining yourself and the car all the time.
They do the same thing on modern mopars but nobody wants an RT they actually remove the rt badge off the scat packs and add SRT. Things don’t change haha
Hey your the guy I’m looking for I sold my 1973rs split bumper Camaro it is Chamois in color I wish I could send you a picture because I want my car back
Not an R/T as 1972 the R/T was replaced by Rallye... The Rallye did have the 1971 style R/T hood and doors..The S.E as this could have been ordered with the mighty 440 or 400 high performance, slap stik shifter,150 mph speedo, tach, duel exhaust with machine gun tips..So R/T or Rallye mean really nothing except stripe and sticker package as all the same options could be ordered on the S.E.. As for him finding the car, well like you said he knew the guys since 1993 its not like not knowing where the car was and then tracking it down years later...It's like my buddy,I sold him a 72 Cuda in 1997 and he still owns it..I drove that car for 3 years, restored it so not a big deal to track it down lol
I love it. I had a 1972 Dodge Charger. And my husband had a 74 Dodge Charger. Love them great cars.
That car is a thing of beauty! What a crazy story finding the car all those years later. I love your shirt JC
Thanks Kevin! The shirt is one my fav designs!
Nice Charger!!!!
With a cool story behind it too!
Nice cars. The first one, the green one, is a neat mix of parts and style.
The owner put his personality it… thanks for watching!
My brother had a 72 just a 318 but was cool as hell to me ,but large enough to ship coal on like a barge
They sure were big back in the 70's
Father said son your gunna drive me to drinkin! Mean machine! Doug's a cool cat..😎
Great guy… I’m happy we go to do the episode!

That sounds like one wicked car! Plus the factory 8 track.. bonus!
71 and 72 are my favorite years , cool SE 😎
Yes! Cool that he bought it back!

You want me to find it for you?
Love these videos
I appreciate the support!
my pops had an orange one with black vinyl top with a 318 back in the early 80s. he sold it after he blew the engine
Please can you turn the music off when you are interviewing? It's so of putting.
We went back to less music in the latest episode!
@@CarsShopsAndCollections Thank you! You got a great channel, all the best 👍
Had a 72 Raylle Charger, same hood, 440 auto, non hidden headlights
My 72 Charger has about 12 cars in it
This is the best comment!! New poll.. how many cars in your build?
No such thing as a SE R/T and of course 340 "Cross Ram" is another modification... not factory! The fender tag would clarify a LOT.
He said he couldn’t afford rt so he upbadged lol
So it's not an R/T , he knew the guy the entire time , big deal . He probably gave the guy peanuts to get it back .
