Waller thinks she’s safe in her high castle, acting like Queen where she can have her pawns killed with a word. But no, she’s still human. Only reason she hasn’t died to the many people that’d want her dead for past transgressions, is the writers giving her incredible luck/plot armor. Afterwards, Deadshot later shows up after taking back his daughter and snipes Amanda Waller in her own office through the window.
I can only assume the reason Waller thought that bomb would work on Clayface is that this show's version of Clayface spends a majority of his time looking like an ordinary human and not a giant blob of clay. Maybe she assumed there was flesh and bone there as a result.

Waller is always like that, she is constantly underestimating people because she sees them as not being serious. For her people make fun of her because they can't beat her but in truth people always tricked her. Riddler, Joker, Lex, Batman, all tricked her one time or the other. Even Red Hood surprised her by saying that he know about the suicide squad.
I've heard complaints on why Clayface is going along with all this but Clayfaces short explanation of a protagonist makes sense to me. He was originally an actor and loves playing different parts plus he's in much less danger then the others because he can shift any vital parts of his body anywhere he wants. So really all of this is like one big play to him.
And the fact that he knew what an isekai is probably means that he's actually watched a lot of anime, therefore, anime and Michael Jackson are both cannon in DC, considering how clayface dresses up and his knowledge of isekai

Right? Especially since some people already called out that He can't die from the bomb. Making Him the "most likely to be spy". Then He subverted Our expectations, by basically saying "I'm just here for the drama".
Or maybe his enhanced magic abilities help him survive the payload of the explosion. Still, Waller should have used a water bomb for goodness sake. Task Force X is on a budget, it seems.
All her info is essentially based on DIRECT observations and reports but short of having scientists perform proper prodding and poking she has no idea how unusual beings like clayface actually function and just therefore assumes they follow the physiology of a human
Clayface could have popped that bomb out his neck like a black head at any point, but by doing that he would have shown his cards, waller thought she was controlling him, but he was in control all along.
I love that Clayface only played along because he wanted to be an Isekai protagonist. He is the one guy who never needed a bomb as motivation for this mission.
Pretty sure Waller knew it wouldn't work on Clayface but also knew him well enough that he would survive, but he was just an example for the others to keep in line, since the rest obviously can't survive the bomb like he did. Also pretty sure that Waller knew that it was the kind of adventure Clayface would want to be a part of which is why he's in the squad, but he just volunteered, and they both know it, I'm surprised the others also thought that would kill him, dude basically melts in water and later reshape himself just fine, and that's when his entire body is sludge, so why should just his head be any different, I swear they're idiots. He fucking reshaped himself into a sword that was strong enough to wistand Katana's attacks after melting in water, there ain't no killing this guy. XD
I love how it is 100% like Clayface to just go along with something like this because it's a good and fun role to play! "But why doesn't he just get rid of the bomb and escape?" Because that wouldn't be a good or convincing performance.
I think thats the point, outside of the Justice League, normal people just dont or cant understand how most of these villains function, especially the mutated or meta powered ones.
LOL saw that coming a MILE AWAY 😂😂 CLAY is LITERALLY his name he can make himself look however he wants…a tiny bomb with just enough explosive power to blow up a person’s head was never gonna kill him 😂😂
(This is my take for when Waller realizes that Clayface is alive) Waller: How.... (realizes) I put an explosiove in a man made of clay. Come on Waller, you should've known better.
Or: "Batman knew I would have his network hacked. He deliberately left me a fake contingency plan for Clayface. What else of his information I acquired is fake? Did he have Oracle and Red Robin Counter-hack me at the same time?" Waller's paranoia starts working overtime leading to a dozen executed subordinates and TFX members.
It doesn't matter how cute or cool the style can be or how much charming you can make the characters... I just can't care less about villains. If they die, I'll be just: "about time". But we all know that heroes may die, but not villains. They'll keep them alive forever, no matter how many times the may die.
I can't be the only one who saw that coming right? That'd be like trying to strap an explosive collar to Deadpool. Clayface dosn't care if you take off his head, he'll just grow a new one.

アマンダがフラッグ大佐に「ゲートをくぐりなさい」って命令するって事は、自力で異世界から帰れるんじゃないのかな?
If you ever feel stupid, just remember that Amanda Waller tried to kill Clay face by blowing his brains with a bomb
Since waller already blew the bomb from his head doesn’t that mean he still has the bomb or not?
I believe it’s gone unless she put more then one in him but if she did that wouldn’t they explode too when the first did so my guess is no more bombs in him
@raringboat7414 plus her screen showed him dead, meaning he is basically free now. Waller was an idiot thinking a bomb would work on Clayman.
@@joevile240 true true so that could also mean that Clayface is invincible
Dude is weak to fucking water
@@thefinalday5858would have been hilarious if the bomb for Clayface was just a water balloon. Not as fancy as an explosive, but if it gets the job done.
How did this show not realized that HE’S FREAKIN CLAYFACE!
Of course he won’t die like that.
I think the heart and brain thing is something he completely fabricated because he’s been completely frozen and blown apart before
That’s happened to him before? Doesn’t sound like it worked
Damn he got back up like a smooth criminal, even peacemaker was slightly shook.
I never knew this existed and now I want MOAR!!
This event becomes INSANELY Hilarious when you bring in the actor allusion jokes with Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch from Code Geass) playing Clayface in to this.
If you ever feel useless, remember Amanda Waller tried to blow up Clayface, also imagine seeing a guy reform himself after blowing up and still calling them lame
Really, I think Clayface is Waller's spy.
Right? Especially since some people already called out that He can't die from the bomb. Making Him the "most likely to be spy".
Then He subverted Our expectations, by basically saying "I'm just here for the drama".
@@ridwana4037 Happy Chaos Moments.
She might have made a miscalculations

Clayface letting everyone know he's the main character here, Bro got plot armour and he knows it
Wait Amanda Waller thought clayface wouldn't survive that I feel like she should have known but I guess she is very dumb.
Or Clayface was on her payroll.
She once tried to control General Zod, so yeah she’s pretty dumb
Clayface could have popped that bomb out his neck like a black head at any point, but by doing that he would have shown his cards, waller thought she was controlling him, but he was in control all along.
"If the bomb was never a threat why didn't you spit it out?"
*"PRESONTATION!"*
XD
Ice bomb would kill him
Geez Waller, how stupid of you to think that a bomb would kill Clayface!
god i just love this version of clayface
That's Muzan when he conquered the sun.
And now you have a member of TFX with no bomb, and who would never be affected by the bomb to begin with. WAY TO GO, MANDY!
Emphasis on the: "Tried". ...What did she THINK would happen?
good news, clayface no longer has to worry about the bomb
Why clayface dressed like Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal
I guess to present himself more theatrical. He is a former actor after all
He literally just wants to, there's no other reason
Because he is a smooth criminal, since managed to trick waller into thinking that a mere bomb can kill him.
Don't worry folks Clayface never die 😂😂😂😂
Clayface just gained high tier anime regeneration, very powerful.
The best version of clayface
I love how it is 100% like Clayface to just go along with something like this because it's a good and fun role to play!
"But why doesn't he just get rid of the bomb and escape?" Because that wouldn't be a good or convincing performance.
I mean... it's Clayface. He probably doesn't even keep his brain there.
just understanding how dumb waller is. he can’t die from the bomb and he could easily make his hands into tiny knives to remove the others bombs.
Clayface looks like that guy Greed swallowed whole in FMAB
Bold of Waller to think she can kill Clayface with a simple bomb.
She stupid
I see Clayface's head explode, and all I can think of is 'Waller's got no clue how Clayface's body work'.
I think thats the point, outside of the Justice League, normal people just dont or cant understand how most of these villains function, especially the mutated or meta powered ones.
EVERYONE knew the bomb wouldnt do sh*t to Clayface. And i mean US.
LOL saw that coming a MILE AWAY 😂😂 CLAY is LITERALLY his name he can make himself look however he wants…a tiny bomb with just enough explosive power to blow up a person’s head was never gonna kill him 😂😂
It never occurred to me how little,if at all, interaction Harley has with Clayface outside of her show.
(This is my take for when Waller realizes that Clayface is alive)
Waller: How.... (realizes) I put an explosiove in a man made of clay. Come on Waller, you should've known better.
Or:
"Batman knew I would have his network hacked. He deliberately left me a fake contingency plan for Clayface. What else of his information I acquired is fake? Did he have Oracle and Red Robin Counter-hack me at the same time?"
Waller's paranoia starts working overtime leading to a dozen executed subordinates and TFX members.
There’s this weird mental disconnect watching DC characters speaking Japanese
Clay Face is the DC universe’s clay/earth elemental. No one in the audience was going to be surprised that that bomb would have no effect on him.
Clayface dressed as Kimblee is brilliant.
"Immortal" beings just being places for fun is my favourite character trope
They've turned Clayface into a smooth criminal.
Waller looking like she would fit in another anime. One where she tells everyone to get into the robot.
It doesn't matter how cute or cool the style can be or how much charming you can make the characters... I just can't care less about villains.
If they die, I'll be just: "about time".
But we all know that heroes may die, but not villains.
They'll keep them alive forever, no matter how many times the may die.
I love the part where Clayface comes back from the dead.
"Because you have been pretty lame supervillains so far." Probably because none of them are SUPERvillains.
Clayface is immune to explosives he'll just pick himself together
Damn clayface really got that plot armor
Clayface could most likely expell the bomb from his neck, by simply doing so.
I can't be the only one who saw that coming right? That'd be like trying to strap an explosive collar to Deadpool. Clayface dosn't care if you take off his head, he'll just grow a new one.
Jokes on Waller, that was a waste of a nano explosive 😂
Amanda Waller: The worst in every universe.
You forget clayface is actually made of clay and can rebuild himself
They legit forgot for a hot second he's literally made of clay
ピースメイカーの驚き方がじわるw
The comments being like 'Is she dumb or is she smart for doing that to Clayface?' reminds me of the Kid Trunks vs Mr. Satan fight.
Trunks: 'Is he really strong... or really weak..?'
No worry, that killed him. He's made out of clay.
Wait so clay face is Micheal Jackson?
THAT'S DIO, PEACEMAKER'S VOICE IS DIO
Make sense
That was so obvious that it happened it reminds me of the time Waller tried the same trick on General Zod. He just used his lasers and burnt the piece of flesh out and then proceeded to break havoc 😂
If this ever gets dubbed, I hope they get the original cast back.
I never watch this show but the clayface is my favourite character so far.
