I love that you changed what you didn’t like. Sometimes I think I need to just finish a quilt regardless of whether I like the design or not. You inspired me. Thanks.
I just finished quilting a potato chip quilt that was totally scrappy. My first thanks to Brenda! I used the smaller size so I could use up some smaller sized pieces. I made them two at a time and alternated darks and lights. It went fast! I like your twist I just might have to try it.
I love this variation. I think I'll do my corners in the same color as the second round. That should make the star pop alot more. Amazing video, you teach very nicely. I agree with the light suggestion about removing the "funnies". Some of them, the sound was higher so it startled me when showing. You don't need them, you did awesome without that. Just a suggestion, not that I didn't like the funnies, maybe just at the start and finish before and after you are done speaking. Some of them hide your mouth and I do alot of lip reading, being hard of hearing. Keep your teaching videos going cuz you are a talented teacher. Much appreciation to you for showing this technique and the problem you had and how you fixed it. That's priceless... Babs from Tombstone, AZ
Thanks for watching, Babs! I always try to adjust the volume of my silly clips. I have to say that I can count on two hands, with fingers left over, the number of complaints about my clips. I enjoy laughing and find it to be a great help when faced with a problem. It helps relax my brain so I can find a solution. God bless
Oh Michele, that will be so cozy! I’ve been dying to do a quilt with all plaids. I have to hit the thrift store for a pile of plaid shirts! Thanks for watching!
Feb. 11, 2024. Hello Melissa! This is a snazzy way to up grade the potato chip block. The fabrics are very pretty. Thank you for the video. What was that crunching you heard? I'm too embarrassed to say. Marion in Oregon
I apologize, Lillie. I was having issues with my old mic while filming this. I've since upgraded my mic and am working to improve. Thanks for watching.
I like your voice and the block looks great, but I only watched a couple minutes of video. I don't like like you changing the volume everytime you paste 🤣 n something...like George Jetson video. Volume goes from your comfortable speaking voice..to very loud.
Thank you for the video, I love how the blocks turned out!
I love the twist on this!!!
Very pretty
Awesome and thanks for the shout out!
Any time!
I love this twist on original. I'm going to try it for a QOV lap quilt!
from Gerry=What a great addition to the potato chip family of blocks. I love it! Be blessed.
Thanks for watching, Gerry! God bless you as well! 🥰💕✝️
Love this ‘twist’ to the potato chip block!

You can do this, Shara! Mistakes are part of life and they are great learning tools. Thanks for watching!
Keep the funny, life needs humor! Cool blocks but I'd be ripping out stitches left & right! Beautiful colors too!

Love this one! The batiks are great! I love your channel!
Thanks so much Jo!
Am I the only one that wants my 2.5 in strips to be exactly 2.5 inches? Not more; not less.
Love your interjections!!!

Oh Michele, that will be so cozy! I’ve been dying to do a quilt with all plaids. I have to hit the thrift store for a pile of plaid shirts! Thanks for watching!

LOL, thanks for watching, Marion!
Wow love it.
Thanks, Helen!
What a great modification! I am making a potato chip block quilt out of my low volume scraps and you have inspired me to experiment a bit.
Wonderful! I hope you have lots of fun!
Quilt turned out beautiful ! I just subscribed to your channel and will be watching for more from you. Happy New Year !!
Thanks for subbing, Connie! Happy New Year!
Love the twist, if you use the same color corner, would it make a pinwheel?
Thanks for watching, Sherenelocher. It would make a 4 pointed star. I guess you could call it a pinwheel.
❤❤❤ "God is Love".
I do and I did
Share and subscribe
Thank you, Jane! 🥰
Love these colors! Do you quilt your quilts yourself?
I have my volume all the way up and can barely hear you...
Fyi
I apologize, Lillie. I was having issues with my old mic while filming this. I've since upgraded my mic and am working to improve. Thanks for watching.
Could do without the interruptions, it doesn’t add anything to the video.
Could do without the rude comments, it doesn't do anything nice.
@@70acres Didn’t mean to be rude, just found it distracting, I apologize.

Thanks for watching, Carolyn. I do try to keep the clips at a lower volume but I guess sometimes I don't do it enough.
This is a kind suggestion... please limit or omit the interjected 'funny clips'. Very distracting for learning.
Thanks for watching.
I like the inserts
I think their funny & shows me your twisted humor !! Baaahaaa just like me. BTW their not long
Lose the funnies you don’t need them
