Missed you guys so much, I had to watch this episode 5 times in a row just to get my Zatara fix on. Thanks for doing what you guys do and keeping the dream alive in so many. I know I will never be able to cut ties and go sailing so I am very happy to see someone who has been able to follow their dreams and do it very successfully.
Hello, welcome, back so glad to see the Z Crew is having a great time. I often check on a friend's FB to get a glimpse of the Z Crew. 🙂 Renee, It is wonderful to see your videos again. Keath, you are a true red-blooded American proud of you. The children are growing up so fast, but O! boy, what an awesome education they are learning and experiencing. May the LORD keep HIS Hand on all of you. Praying for you every day,
Hey, Renee! You outdid yourself with the colour and editing of the first part. It's mesmerising. Especially the second the camera is just above water and you can see how it reflects all sorts of blues and greens in the wake! And, the music. Wow!
Superb photography guys - thank you! the missus was listening but made her a little sad as our grandkids are just outside of Freo and we miss them bigtime so your comments re Anna hit home. Love your attitude to life and humanity. Have fun now it's 2022..
So glad you're back - we've missed you! Also glad to know Anna is doing well. Keith, you're a big softie, but that's how us Dads are with our daughters. As always, thanks for sharing your adventure!
Miss y'all!! Glad y'all got a break... An yes Keith your a fabulous Roving Reporter!! More of it wud be eye opening an enlightening... Glad y'all are back!! Fare winds an following sea's ✌🏻💗😊❣️

Welcome back! You folks were missed. Good to see Russell with you as well. Still hanging with the Kiwis? Awesome video. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us here at home. Congratulations to your daughters college achievements. No small feat! 👍😎👍💕
So happy to hear you enjoyed your break from TH-cam.but really happy that you're back for those of us who live are sailing life virtually through your channel. Missed you.
I'm just obsessed with Z crew and their fun packed videos.Renee u r awesome u give us the excellent experience of sailing and viewing beauties of oceans at the comfort of our homes . It's a bliss for sure and u guys r living a "most wanted life style".Renee I love u and thnx for the beautiful work u r doing dear.
Missed your videos. I’m a Texan and that means something born and raised! If you back here and have nothing better to do, I live in Beach City. Y’all are always welcome by my campfire!
Welcome Back! 🤗 Hope you enjoyed your time and got some rest while you were away. Everybody needs to step back now and again. ⚘ From South Carolina, USA
These videos get better and better every time I watch them. I have seen every video from the begging. The photography, music and editing is better than most professional producers. Renee good job. I am hooked. I always look for the next video.
Yay! a Zatara video! I've missed you guys! And what a beautiful video it is too! Either y'all are filming with a sharper cam or my monitor got new video drivers - I mean it is really beautiful on my screen. Thanks!
It’s great seeing you all again, great knowing everyone’s safe out there. It seem like it’s been six months since we saw the last video. We’ve been making a special night watching your videos. Ever since you left Texas, on the first boat. Please keep up all these great videos! Love you all Norm and Ann Shifferd, from Gulf Shores, Alabama. PS My son Hunter loves his Zatara hat. He wares it everywhere.
Seeing you guys this morning made my day. Renee, you captured the beauty of such a special place - great job. And Keith, you are such a natural in front of the camera - born to do it. Love it! May your family be safe and joyful. 😘 Granny
Is it wrong that the Welcome Back, Kotter theme song played in my head when I clicked this? Asking for a friend. The dolphin is the local sheriff. He was protecting Keith from the Tiger Shark. Hmmm. On a roll this morning. BTW, it was 109° in Montana couple of weeks ago when I was at Flathead Lake. Good thing you're in Australia.
Ho hum, my life is so boring these days and all your videos so full of AWESOME, living on the boat is oh so familiar and ingrained in my younger years! Yes, I have missed you!!! Happy to hear Anna is doing well & is planning to meet you all in Indonesia! If you ever want another rocking crew mate- let me know! In the mean time, "May the wind be in your favor!" ~Cindy (Boston, MA)
"We're too involved, I get too involved..." I hear you. Same for me when my son was Jack's age. I had force myself to work more like a CFI, dropping back, giving him plenty of room to pick up the ball and run with it. Half of good learning is letting him figure things out for himself. I'd tell him the desired end state, ask him to plan trips, hand him the resources (links, books, charts, etc.), then simply ask him simple questions. In your case that might be, "Do we have enough off-course deep-water clearance for sailing past these islands/shoals?" If he answers, "Yes," but you think more room is needed, just ask him to insert a waypoint another half a mile or three to the right/left of course. Similar to trying to thread your way through an island chain vs just blue water sailing around it, planning for time periods of favorable winds... It might help for you to write down a bullet list of all your planning considerations the next time you let him plan a trip, and when he's finished, hand it to him and ask him to double-check his own work against your list and various requirements. After a couple of times through, your revised bullet list will evolve into a good checklist that works for you, your boat, and your whole family. You can do this, Keith! It's a really good idea to have multiple FMC (fully mission-capable) members of your crew who can safely take over in case you fall ill.
I’ve been following sailing channels for about a year now because I’d really love to join the community myself. So glad I stumbled upon your channel. Seeing a family living on the ocean has helped me get my wife in on it to. Maybe there’s hope after all. Love the channel. Keep up the great work.
Very interesting choice of soundtrack for the "Welcome to the Abrolhos Islands" section. Who would have guessed that country music can be matched with the beautiful blue waters at Abrolhos... Well Done!
So glad you guy’s had a well deserved break to recharge. Because this episode shows the passion and love for what you do, and do so well. I’m just gonna sit back with a glass of wine, or a beer, or both, and watch it a few more times.🍷🍺 Gosh I’ve really miss this amazing family.⛵️🐚🐠☀️
Such great videography Renee!!! So well put together! Well done. I had hoped you would tell more of the story of the Batavia and the island around which you had sailed. But that's OK. I seriously hope, actually, I'm sure you are enjoying the area with it's inherent beauty. I'm so glad you are all safe and well. Fair winds and following seas to you all!
So glad the family is well and you’re all having fun. It’s wonderful to see and share the enjoyment of the crushing lifestyle. Oh, How I wish I could go sailing, even for just awhile 😊
Renee, I just loved the camera work and drone footage on this Vlog. Your story telling just keeps getting better. Love Keith's Q & A sessions too.
Missed you guys so much, I had to watch this episode 5 times in a row just to get my Zatara fix on. Thanks for doing what you guys do and keeping the dream alive in so many. It's amazing how much better TH-cam is compared to the old Network Television. Thanks for extremely professional programming.
Kind of a strange juxtaposition first showing the tiger shark followed immediately by Renee urging Keith to get in the water.
She was trying to chum for more tiger shark….
Can we get a show of hands who misses Anna ?
And a shout out to the Scorsese-like B-Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss seeing Anna too!!✌️
#davesandersstepdaughter
Thrilled my question regarding Anna was answered & love hearing she is thriving!

Love the street interviews!!! I hear people say "Germany and UK hates us" yet I travel there a lot and they love us ... keep it up!!!!
So glad you're back - we've missed you! Also glad to know Anna is doing well. Keith, you're a big softie, but that's how us Dads are with our daughters. As always, thanks for sharing your adventure!
We can’t wait for Anna to get married, have a family and sailing next to ma and pa on Zatara II ❤️🥰😘🙏
Once again, great editing job. You need to go to Hollywood. On second thought, DON'T! You are fine where you're at. :)
We need a conservative-moderate family friendly Hollywood, though.
Sky News Aus and Rebel News. The truth that hollyweird doesn't want you to hear.
Miss y'all!! Glad y'all got a break... An yes Keith your a fabulous Roving Reporter!! More of it wud be eye opening an enlightening... Glad y'all are back!! Fare winds an following sea's ✌🏻💗😊❣️
Welcome back! We missed you all but glad you had some time away to disconnect. I would love to do Australia-the ocean is incredible
You guys are the best! Love your show. You guys are great parents also. I wish I could have had a dad like Keith. Keep up the good work!
I’m older than Keith but wish I had a father like him too. He’s great.
You sure are living the life! And Renee, the camera work is awesome. That water level view of the dinghy with Z behind is what dreams are made of.
So happy to see you guy’s back and glad you enjoyed your time off. Looking forward to see what all the family has encountered. Renee great editing and looking forward to the next video. Love you all❤️❤️
I am glad you took a well-deserved break, but we sure missed y’all!
