Ahhh, I've been so excited for this video!!! And we're totally twinning with the shirts today. I know some people go so hard for one reading order over the other, but genuinely, it's all personal preference and doesn't really make a difference in the storyline, and I think the way you did it is the most enjoyable way for your reading style too

I watched a TON of tiktoks before I finally decided 😅 Assassin's Blade does happen before Throne of Glass, so if you prefer to read things in timeline order that would be my suggestion. BUT either way, you're getting a good story no matter what order you read it in ☺️✨

This series seems amazing! I just could not figure out where to start but i'm gonna do your reading order because i rather have the backstory first I'm almost done with the invisible life of addie larue and i already know it will be a 5 star ❤
I'm not that far yet 😅 no worries i'd figured he'd do it since he was her way to write and paint But henry is such a sweetheart i love their story i'm savouring the book i have like 4 hours left and i don't want it to end but i heard good things about the author's other books they are all witchy/supernatural 🤩

I read assassins blade 3rd and I also wish i read it first, I struggled through it a bit because I wanted to continue the main current plot, and reading the prequel I didnt let myself get attached to a character iykyk, i can understand struggling through the short stories when u arent connected to celaenas character tho
I definitely struggled through Assassin's Blade at times, because I totally agree, I had no connection to Celaena and the stories felt irrelevant at times (...and I was just really eager to get into the actual series lol) BUT I will still always recommend reading it first. I think it really enhanced the reading experience for TOG ✨

I was so invested after finishing CoM that I didn’t want to go back in time so I rushed through AB and missed a lot of important information. Also, since several events in AB are talked about in ToG, they didn’t impact me emotionally as much as I think they would have if I read it first. So if anyone here is confused about the reading order, learn from my mistake a read it first! 😂 Can’t wait for the next update video! 🎉❤ are you doing the tandem read for EoS and ToD?

If I hadn't read it first, I probably wouldn't have read it at all, and then I would have missed out on SO much! And YES! I'm finishing up QoS today and then we're jumping right into the tandem read! I've never read books that way before, so I'm really excited...I may or may not have even made my own tandem read bookmarks LOL 😄📚✨

Yep, that's the only one out of order! There is a tandem read for books 5 & 6, but that's the only other "weird" thing. LOL the wind was really doing the most 😂

I struggled reading the prequel first .. I DNFs .. and went into the series. I strongly recommend the series be read in order of publication.
