Thank you for making this video. My fiancée was very frustrated when she was unable to sign into her PSN Account. Solution 4 worked for us. Like you said there must be some kind of glitch. Sad that there isn’t a patch to fix it so that people don’t have to deal with this.

After finally being able to log in with my new replaced Vita I then found out my OG Vita wasn’t the issue.. It was the memory card! Oh well guess I got an extra PSV now but now have to find an affordable SD card
I’ve had this problem since it came out and sometimes eventually it would work but most of the time it wouldn’t. Solution 1 just worked. I feel stupid for being so impatient. I will definitely come back to this video if I have another problem and solution 1 doesn’t work, so I can try the others. Tysm
Thanks for the video, it was the 2 step verification that was causing my issue. I had turned it off awhile ago after being signed in on my PS3. But turned it off again, then after being logged out on my PS3 I ran into this annoying issue.

I tried waiting a few minutes and switching on 2 factor verification. One of those things did the trick and I'm signed in again, so thanks dude, nothing else I tried was working.

I generated a few then revoked them when they didn’t work and generated another and still didn’t work. Finally I revoked it, waited like 30 secs and generated another time and this time it worked. Make sure not to generate a ton of passwords and not use them, try and just do it once and use that, hopefully somebody will be helped by this.
I keep getting the same error message "You cannot sign in using another user's sign-in ID (e-mail address)." I did everything up to 2:34 correctly. Why is it giving this error message for my own PSN account email address?

2024 i got it to work. I singed into psn profile on phone web browser got into the generate password and typed it in ps3 no problem. Make sure password is exactly the same as generated password

step 3 worked thank you so much after the new fallout show came out I wanted to play some new vegas and i just got a new ps3 because the one i just got like a year or two ago disk drive broke on me
what i did was i went to one of my pre exisiting users from years ago that was not already linked to a psn account. then i clicked sign up for psn on that user and logged in with the qr code password and it worked
I just did the log into the account on safari on my iPhone and then scanning the QR code it linked the QR code to the account and logged me into my ps3
its bullshit it doesn't work they need to stick that bar code where the sun don't shine , so pissed , i have downloaded games i bought for it , with a 480 gb ssd in it for an upgrade , now it won't play cause it will not pass , and the bar code doesn't do shit.....
None of these worked for me, 2001 vita model. However, after resetting my psvita after 1) powering down (holding power button for a few secs) and then 2) holding the power button, R button, and ps button, it brings up a page with about 4 different formatting options. 3) I then chose the "reset" option. I tried signing in with a new generated password and it worked after over 48 hours of trying 2FA/generated password methods! hope this helps someone!
