chicken tikka masala if you didnt know despite what many people think was invented in the uk. Quite a lot of curries were invented in the UK and have never seen India before.
The food a country creates is very much dependent on the climate and the natural resources available to that country traditional British food done properly is delicious especially the winter dishes which reflects the climate this nation has.
This dude is crazy ignorant imo, UK has great traditional food and excel in the dessert/pudding department, there are some questionable local traditional food which is awful like jellied eels which are really only found in some parts of Britain and most likely 99% of the UK has never tried them. The average brit will have a variety of British, Italian, Indian etc etc dishes at home and do not have a full english breakfast very often at all. Never heard of a toast sandwich either 🤷
Traditional British deserts are some of the best in the World. Try rhubarb crumble or sticky toffee pudding or peach cobbler or apple pie or rice pudding or bread and butter pudding (which sounds awful but is delicious) or banoffee pie!!
You need to watch Kalani and Sav, they’re from the US, and have travelled to the UK trying food from all over here , it’s better than most people think
Due to our climate, our traditional foods are comfort foods, that doesn't mean we don't do flavour when we cook. For example, this is more Italian, but when I make my own Spag Bol (spaghetti bolognaise), it includes Birds Eye Chilli, Garlic, Basil, Bay Leaves and Red Wine. Like all countries, everyone is an individual, what one person likes another person may not. Until about ten years ago I wouldn't eat chilli's or peppers, but I wasn't brought up on them. Also, I hear a lot of US Americans say we don't have enough salt in our foods. This is due to our government bringing in laws to reduce salt for health reasons (blood pressure, kidney disease etc). So much so, I can now taste if too much salt has been added, it tastes vile and makes you really thirsty. Our taste buds have adapted to it.
traditional british food isn't the best but some of the best are still really tasty. one of things the brits are really good at is the acceptance of foods around the world. we have everything from italian, thai, indian and chinease and i have heard that quite alot of other countries they dont do this as often. the spanish or the italian will mainly eat their own traditional meals.
Well, America has long accepted everyone else's food and adapted to their own way. Burgers (Germany) Italian and mexican food come to mind the strongest.
This guy clearly has an agenda ‘nobody needs to be nice to the Brit’s’ 🤣 Watch any open minded American trying British foods of TH-cam. I’ve never heard any of them say a bad thing
This guy is taking the piss. Toastie sandwich with a slice of bread in the middle? This guy is cuckoo.

i'm sorry but this guy has a agenda. watch any other video on british food they enjoy it. i have no idea where he got that bread toastie idea from
Toast sandwich was purely designed for people who had nothing. It was part of a menu of really cheap options so you didn't just add cheese.
British food is definitely not bad....
Apple pie 1st mentioned in the 13th century England.
This guy talks absolute crap. Try watching the myriad of videos from other Americans who praise British food highly.
