  • This video actually pertains to 2 different work benches that are pretty much identical, but sold under 2 different names. The WEN WB4723T and the Harbor Freight Yukon 58695. I bought one of each and will review them and show you how to assemble them step by step.

Thank you for your tutorial. It was exactly what I needed to complete my workbench that has been waiting to be put together for a year.

Well. I bought my first work bench and as I began to unpack the pieces to make sure all the pieces were there, ( because there was a good size piece busted off the side of the box), I saw that pieces marked 4, were not visible with rest of the metal pieces, so I took the kit back to harbor freight for an exchange which they did gladly. Well I unpacked the second kit and didn’t see parts marked 4 again. But I decided to look at the pieces in the drawers and there they were. I think they should have put those pieces with the rest so the buyer would identify them right away and not get thrown off this way. Anyway nice bench and I mounted my bench grinder and vice on it. Great setup. My light was the full width of the bench. This one is a lot shorter.

This is a huge help. It seems mine came missing some bolts so this came in handy.

What is the height of the top of the workbench?

Great video. Just picked up a Yukon bench at my local HF tonight. Looks like a decent bench for the price. Just looking to use it for basic gun smithing, small electronics repair, gardening stuff, etc. in the basement during the cold months. Thanks for the good awesome video and guide!

Thank you for a great video! Now.... to put my assembly skills and the Harbor Freight workbench to the test!
UPDATE: I just finished my own! Based on your video, I also painted the pegboard black as you did and love it...
Thanks for the idea! Just like you said, after it's all together, it's very sturdy and will be perfect for my use.

I just bought one of these from Harbor freight got it on sale for $99 plus tax. And I put it together by myself which was a little difficult with some of the pieces trying to bolt on like the bottom piece that goes across that frames the bench but I managed to do it I ran into some issues where putting in the pegboard would not go flush against the frame because there was already a bolt in there pushing the pegboard out so I’m not sure if I put a bolt in the wrong place or what the deal was and I didn’t bother to try to take it out it was a little too awkward. Also I did not get the hardware to install the light and I’m pretty sure I didn’t lose it. I agree with you for the money whether you pay $100 or 130 or 150 I think it’s well worth the money.

I partially watched two other videos before yours. I really appreciated that you specified the part numbers when the other two just fast-forwarded without verbal instruction. I think my bench is an amalgamation of the Wen and Yukon benches. I bought mine at Harbor Freight but have to assemble the drawers and the bolts have regular heads and the nuts use separate washers.

The WEN looks wider. Is it just camera angle? The WEN also looks more cosmetically aesthetic in the video.

Not sure. It's just a standard type of AC cord. You might have one laying around somewhere

Do you think a vise could be added to the front right corner? With a plywood plate inbetween of course.

It could but I wouldn't do major torquing on it

I mounted my vise and a bench grinder on mine and I just drilled holes into the bench top and it worked fine. Sturdy.

Absolutely losing my mind putting this thing together. Everything was going fine until I went to install the drawers and both drawers only clicked in on one side and now they’re stuck and nothing I do can get them in or out.
