  • This vegan egg salad, in my opinion, has the exact odd,
    creamy chunkiness and savoury flavour that egg salad needs to have! Make this for your school or work lunches for that ultimate nostalgia factor that's packed with protein-dense goodness :)

    I swear that the best way to make egg salad is to make it from scrambled tofu. Whenever I make scrambled tofu, I make egg salad out of the leftovers. I just add vegan mayo, a little mustard and chopped celery.

    Oh thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this! I've loved eggs my whole life, until a few years ago when my body decided it is now egg intolerant, which took me over a year to figure out why eggs make me so sick now because who's ever heard of egg intolerance? No one, that's who. Combined with me also being lactose intolerant I had no choice but to get into veganism, so you are a GODSEND for making this video for people like me who have to be mostly vegan for health reasons! 🥰❤❤❤

    Omg I just made this and it is amazing!! You really need that black salt to make the eggy taste. Can't wait to make these sandwiches for a vegan afternoon tea!

      That wall is a really weird wall and I can't put holes in it because part of it is like foundation/possibly sheet metal? I've just given up on decorating this apartment lol.

    L.O.L. I can't believe you mentioned those egg salad sandwiches, in Actinolite ON.. which were probably the one of the few things that has stopped me from going from vegetarian to vegan. I will absolutely make this. B.T.W. that place, not sure of its name, it's on highway 7 just before the tweed turnoff. They now make veggie wraps!

      I don't know what sorcery they put into those sandwiches but they were so good!! That's awesome that they have veggie wraps now!

    I've actually never eaten egg salad because eggs just always seemed like something that should go in the salad not be the salad, but I digress. I just made this right now and it was the bomb right out of the bowl, so I'm sure it'll be even better once the flavors melt together. Thanks for the recipe!

    I can't believe I've never thought of this. I use chickpeas all the time. The tofu is brilliant. I used to eat a lot of eggs because I never liked meat. Thanks

    • @Thevietvegan
      @Thevietvegan  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chickpeas are a great option for people who want to switch up the soy protein for sure :) I find tofu more eggy in texture, but the chickpeas are better for tuna-like versions.
