Pretty sure all of the faction quests will be continued because they stopped them all at the end of their first acts. I dunno if they'll fit that into the primary story line over the next 4 years but once SS hits and all of the faction quests are on board, i see 2 key events coming 1) UC/FC/CF stories continue and will further flesh out the galaxy and 2) at some point we're getting a new faction war between the Va'ruun, UC, and FC. I hope every game BGS does from this point on is long form, cause this approach of telling a story over time allows for a lot more content than the standard 1 and done with DLC packages like Fallout was up to 76.
@@Starfield_Eclipse I dunno if you've ever seen Vae Victis' slate he leaves behind in his cell, but since i came across that the UC/FC hostility has been hard to ignore. For all of the talk of getting along and sharing information, seems like they're still pretty bitter and expecting everything to break down. Then you have Naeva still out there with the fleet as they disabled the post-Fleet quest encounter before launch. FC stops with them attempting to pick up the pieces from the Hope fallout. There's a lot of directions they can go, but its all kinda leading to a faction war. Xenowarfare and Mechs are about to be back on the menu at some point. The fact that Mech walking animations were found in the base game ( People created mini-Mech Vasco replacements when you can see this) point to them being introduced at some point. How do you reintroduce a banned item into the areas that banned them? Faction war where all of the agreements go in the trash =)
@@jacobwilliams1356 The UC/Vanguard questline still has either a living VV, or fallout from VV's actions it can pick back up with, the FC has fallout from Hope in either direction but i'm thinking they'll pick that back up more when the faction war happens. The Crimson Fleet is really the big one here with the most clues. For one, we know they disabled Naeva's random ship encounter post-CF quest so that lends a bit into plans for either breaking Del and gang out, her rebuilding the fleet, or the fleet playing out into future events somehow. There's a mod that's been out for some time restoring that encounter, but it seems BGS has plans. If the Fleet wins and SysDef is toast, you have the next stage of the Fleet's objectives.
The main thing that worries me about making one area so dense is that it's going to make the existing main areas feel so much more shallow. Hopefully there is some kind of balance as to not make it feel so dramatically different.
@@GoalOrientedLifting yeah that's kind of related to something I was thinking about. I hope that all the new outfit/armors and weapons are included in the levellists and are not just locked off to the new areas. I know they have been cut off for a long time but I find it hard to believe that they would have totally different items. Basically what I'm saying is I hope that all the new items and additions/locations feel like they were always there in the universe.
I too hope the changes extend out into the base game. Weapons, armor, locations, their ships, the 'condition' going on there - all with traces throughout the original game would be awesome... even if it were just occasionally.
There are some mod solutions but they are very much still working through a lot of bugs. I expect in a year there a mod solution that functions well for seamless travel.
There's no such thing as valid and invalid feedback. There's feedback you like and feedback you hate. Who gets to decide what is valid and what is invalid and how much of a tyrant are they by the very definition of what they are doing? Just something to think about...
Highly disagree with you, feedback with the intent to improve is valid and feedback with intent to destroy is not valid. Example: someone I care about is gaining weight and I am concerned about their health. Me telling them would be valid criticism Someone I hate and I know that they are sensitive about their weight but is at a health weight. My telling them that they are looking fat with the intent of hurting their feelings isn't valid feedback.

I hope you are correct, I would love to see those quests continued.

oh really? I did all of the faction quests and they seemed to have ended at a good stopping point. do you care to share more?

if theyre smart theyll add POIs with every DLCs they drop, to the base game. however got no clue if they will
I hope this is the route they go. The more they add the less repetitive the procedural generation will feel.

Future updates will probably work on poi generation.

I hope they fix ship exploration. Its the bulk of the loading screens and the main reason the game is disjointed

@@Starfield_Eclipse yeah for sure im using astrogate mod it helps but something polished from Betheseda would be a huge improvement.
pretty sure they confirmed it's ONE new planet not more.
It’s DUNE. If it isn’t dune man they missed an opportunity
I think this narrative was heavily inspired by dune. They pulled from a lot of great sci-fi for this game, the UC vanguard I got alien vibes from.
