Thank you so much for the content and your advice. I passed my PE Civil Exam at the first first attempt in the OCT 2020 exam but was surprised when I got to know I still need to pass (2) more exams for getting the PE license in CA. How much time in weeks or months do you think an average engineer needs to pass these (2) exams?
Thank you for the advice. I would add that there are some calculator restrictions. Make sure your calculator doesn't have a full alphabet keyboard. I have an HP35s that was approved for the main PE test, but not the seismic exam.
So I have a questions for you. I have a Civil Degree with an emphasis in Surveying, but really only took the basic 4-5 structural analysis classes for the degree. I'm confident I could pass the survey test no problem, but know I will fail seismic without putting a ton of studying in. With that said, is the book you recommend capable of teaching me what I need to know if I haven't actually taken a seismic class?
