I was at this match. The crowd were ridiculous. They were even worse when white played O'Sullivan in the first round. It really got to O'Sullivan and cost him the match. I support white but its wrong how the crowd behaved.

1:24:54 "Well he can't afford to do that against Jimmy White" for real? I know he says this whenever someone misses an easy pot, but come on. You could've gotten away with missing almost anything against White and this match is the prime example.
Great mixture of class, Jimmy and Stephen, snooker aside its character that people want to watch with great snooker, flamboyant and risk taking makes it exciting, not boring robotic winning form for me, i like to be entertained.

The downfall of Jimmy White... I'm still convinced that getting clean and getting fat were the worst things that could happen to him. He went clean in 1994 which (perhaps not so coincidently) was the last we really saw of his top-level amazing skills at the table. Cocaine probably contributed more to his ability to concentrate than he'd like to admit.
Not sure what's more shamefull...the standard in 1st frame or the circle at 24.20....more misses in 1st frame than the judd ronnie masters final....and the crowd....i think they helped jimmy lose more than win....
Looks like they're playing with the Belgian set rather than the more responsive Tournament Champion set. Could be part of the reason they had a slow start and had to bash the shots to get anywhere throughout the match. Besides.... It ain't no easy game mate.
