Kripp was a great commentator. Not only did he give a lot of amazing insight, he also commentated completely unbiased though his teammate was playing. He called out bad plays when they happened and didn't try to sugar-coat it with some half-arsed excuses
That's what I noticed too. I watched a different fight night season first where he was casting also, (before I knew he was on the team even) and I had no idea he was on the team, completely unbiased commentary.
Man I really love Kripp's casting. When he actually tries to explain he's very thorough, very analytic, and he seems to catch most of the available plays. Hope to see more casting from him in the future. (Next Berlin, I hear, maybe?)
That was an incredible cast. Give it up for Kripp!! I can barely stay awake when I'm watching his stream, but his casting skills surprised me with how engaging he was. No doubt he's an incredible player, but if I had to bet money, I'd say his real future is in casting. Let's all hope that Hearthstone gets a sizable following for some kind of pro scene, and let Kripp really shine!
Kripp said they were complaining about his commentary but most of the time Kripparrian was a better commentary than the actual host. I don't understand.
It's because he talked too much at some points, trying to explain his point. He is indeed a good analyzer but I have to agree he just went on and on at some points...
Being socially awkward and so on. Once or twice he glanced briefly into the camera, but mostly he's staring into the desk or down onto his fidling hands, showing clear signs of not being comfortable in his temp role. On the other hand his eveluating of gameplay is spot on and I don't think he overexplained anything seeing as his co-host clearly needs the schooling.
Wow Kripp really was good at commentary he offered good explanations of all the options available to each players hand and why they made each plays. His knowledge of the cards and various ways they can be used really shone through in this vid. I can only think that they did not like him being more informative and knowledgeable than the main caster.
love to see kripp cast. lol at that part though where the other guy asked him about what play would he do on the first game he answered differently eKop plays bad....
I bet Artosis dislikes it too. But he doesn't dislike the money sponsors pay him to wear it (I assume anyway. If that's not the case, then... I guess there's no accounting for taste).
I remember hearing Kripp (on his Twitch stream) talk about casting at the ESGN in Berlin and how apparently he did a bad job. So today I went and watched this vid right here and was pleasantly surpised! Kripp, get a hold of yourself, this is top notch commentary and only your analysis of your own quality was off. By a mile or so.
Personalty for the people playing and streaming like this is big thing. The Hearthstone is big so is safe for now but if they don't step up esgn might have a problem. But that ssfv stream is pretty hype
Now that the VODs are unavailible on twitch.tv, can you please upload the video in less than 24h? Like I miss the show I have to wait 24h hour before a vod? Is this really 2014? Or are we back in 2000?
Man , kripp is soooo good at talking !!! He should become a commentator ! He speaks , fluently and intelligently , even better than the china dude with him !!!!
Oh i remember Mibk was from the SC2 scene and he was tank for 15 minutes every turn. So rude taking that long. So Blizz finally added in the timer for friendly game, right?
I really like the format: Competitive Hearthstone while not taking it overly serious. I especially like the slightly humorous tune of the little comments about keywords etc. + Both casters wdid a great job. + This time no waiting periods (like in EP1) + Very professional quality (graphic effects/edditing, sound, camera) - Very old meta. Should be released at max. 7 days after recording. - Unnatural acting. I guess the participants were told to do some "funny stuff" on camera. While it worked for Gnimish I guess it made Trump look really awkward. I think they shouldn't be forced to act like this if they don't want to. About the "Ring Girls": I don't there is so much fuss about it. They are there for just a few seconds each episode. It fits the slightly humerous mood of the show and it was never degrading or anything like that. I mean you got Ring Girls on Boxing, MMA, F1-Racing at what not. I think they enriched the show and helped establishing a good mood.
Omfg i cannot stop laughing. Kripp is so awesome. Doesn't shave and dresses in a dingy ass hoodie for this. This guy is fucking amazing lmao. I think i'll be watching kripp until he stops doing his youtoube/streaming thing, no doubt...IF he ever stops, which i hope he doesn't.
Bad misplay at 45:30 that could have cost him the game. He should have swiped Keeper of the Grove instead of Rag, then used his own Keeper to finish the Rag, leaving a 2/2 on the board instead of a 2/3. Had he done that, he could have saved his Claw the next turn, which would have been useful later.
I have to disagree. Its not about seriousness, its just cringe worthy. I realize thats completely subject though, but then again to me, thats all that really matters. Great games though! Love Krip in the commentator seat.
Mathias Bonde I know what they were aiming for but it's so badly done and it's impossible NOT to cringe when looking at this. But I mean that's my opinion, other people might like it.
Ninami It's not a rap video. It's a show where you can see it's made by normal people. They don't paint you a dreamy picture and they don't feed you pig shit. Maybe it's just your own insecurity that's making you cringe.
Kripparrian did a great job as a co-caster :)
Kripp was a great commentator. Not only did he give a lot of amazing insight, he also commentated completely unbiased though his teammate was playing.
He called out bad plays when they happened and didn't try to sugar-coat it with some half-arsed excuses

Ya his lad vid he put out he said hes heading back to fill "a different role" or something like that. Good for him! Can't wait to see more.
That was an incredible cast. Give it up for Kripp!! I can barely stay awake when I'm watching his stream, but his casting skills surprised me with how engaging he was. No doubt he's an incredible player, but if I had to bet money, I'd say his real future is in casting. Let's all hope that Hearthstone gets a sizable following for some kind of pro scene, and let Kripp really shine!
shame he quit hearthstone already :(
watching this in 2021, game seemed so easy and straight forward back then.
Kripp said they were complaining about his commentary but most of the time Kripparrian was a better commentary than the actual host. I don't understand.
ikr the host is obviously a noob at this game calling for terrible plays and Kripp just correcting him was hilarious
*****
Haha yeah, Kripp being so casual about it too. Wonder why Kripp said his casting wasn't very good... he's the only reason why I'm watching this
It's because he talked too much at some points, trying to explain his point. He is indeed a good analyzer but I have to agree he just went on and on at some points...
Being socially awkward and so on. Once or twice he glanced briefly into the camera, but mostly he's staring into the desk or down onto his fidling hands, showing clear signs of not being comfortable in his temp role. Yeah, holy shit he talked himself down on his stream. That was really great, and in depth!
@Kripparrian Great job shoutcasting, good work.
Kripp did a great job. I really don't understand how anyone could think otherwise.
kripp #1 caster planet earth
when kripp commentate, miracles happen
Wow Kripp did an awesome job there. Normally he doesnt talk that much and here he just did an awesome commentary.
King of dreams, Kripparrian!
Kripp has to easily be one the most precise and informative caster in the world.
It's good to have Kripp casting. He actually knows what he's on about.
I like monks team. They all look super awkward and nerdy but damn they play good.
Awesome matches and excellent commentary by Kripp. Hope he does it more often.
Yugi has been dethroned, Kripparrian is the new king of games!
LMAO "dat OJ" in Kripp's description!
Kripp doing amazing casting
This series is awesome... Nice job commentating Kripp!
Blizzard should hire Kripp to do official commentary with TB or Trump. Love it.
I heard Kripp was getting a lot of criticism on his shoutcasting but I don't see why he would be; he was better than the host imo.
Wow Kripp really was good at commentary he offered good explanations of all the options available to each players hand and why they made each plays. His knowledge of the cards and various ways they can be used really shone through in this vid. I can only think that they did not like him being more informative and knowledgeable than the main caster.
Kripp said the wheel sometimes spun for 15 minutes because of germa engineering and took up 1/4 of the time
I don't know why you guys are complaining about the cringe, the more cringey it is, the more entertaining in my opinion.
excellent casting by Kripp, that was so much more enjoyable to watch than E01
Great commentary, Krip!
This was very enjoyable to watch, very hype moments.
great games to watch, awesome commentary from krip and other dude...
When ekop loses an angel gets its wings.
Kripp trying so hard not to laugh
kripp is really saving this show
WHAT A MATCH!!! The EU vs NA talk can be over after this because both played AMAZINGLY! EU = NA, NA = EU end of story...
nice decks :) Thanks for posting, I really like these videos
Kripp is saving the show
so glad this was uploaded with 3d as an option....
team douchehouse lost! nice :)
God damnit, and that's the first comment I see. Even though the spoiler, it made me very happy lol.
Spoiler. :(
Frigging spoiler... Well i guess i can always mute him to prevent this on the future.
love to see kripp cast. lol at that part though where the other guy asked him about what play would he do on the first game he answered differently
eKop plays bad....
I really dislike Artosis' jacket.
I bet Artosis dislikes it too. But he doesn't dislike the money sponsors pay him to wear it (I assume anyway. If that's not the case, then... I guess there's no accounting for taste).
Don't scroll down, there are spoilers. :T
thx

Wow at the end is that Krip's deck owning face?
wow Kripp was so good commentating, you can tell he knows alot about this game
the wheel just keeps spinning and spinning lmao. fucking awesome
ETRASH GOT MONKED
Personalty for the people playing and streaming like this is big thing. The Hearthstone is big so is safe for now but if they don't step up esgn might have a problem. But that ssfv stream is pretty hype
Those poor girls... I'm sure this is one of the more awkward things they've done.
+Mike N Yeah pretty sure they felt great escorting that 12 year old host on xD
Kripp brought me here, best hearthstone cast i heard so far
I'll watch anything with artosis or kripp man, this was great
They weren't kidding.. That wheel spins way too hard
If I was there, I would spin that wheel so hard it wouldn't stop spinning for like 10 minutes :P.
people need to stop hating this is such good production and the grils give me a piece of mind.
Only thing I hate is your grammar.
LOL sorry i didnt use spellchecker myyyy badzzz
Team Kripp only!
"We're going to win! :D"
Loses 0:3
Fuck you
Wow. Really impressed by Kripps commentary
Love the show !
Actually Thrall is no more the Horde's Warchief. It was Garrosh until the last patch, when he was deposed and Vol'jin took his place. :S
At 1:04 when the announcer says we look similar because they both wear glasses and Monk is like, "It's because we are both asian" I laughed so hard
Sick series!
At 48:00 minutes, you should have shown Monk's face, it was his turn...
Kripp as caster, atlast :D
Thank u kripp for this vid more commentary :)
Now that the VODs are unavailible on twitch.tv, can you please upload the video in less than 24h? Like I miss the show I have to wait 24h hour before a vod? Is this really 2014? Or are we back in 2000?
This was much more enjoyable than watching a mage turtle every game.
I should learn to not look at the comments before I watch the video...
Kripp for president! :D
Why does silence remove the buff on +5 health Ancient of War but not on +2 health Druid of the Claw?
Man , kripp is soooo good at talking !!! He should become a commentator ! He speaks , fluently and intelligently , even better than the china dude with him !!!!
I've heard many people are liking the hearthstone casting of the King of Dreams.
This is where all the eKop memes were born.
Only a true mastermind would pick a mirror for the last match.
49:55 LOL look at ekop face
that fucking wheel...incredible.
It's always a good day when Ek0p gets bodied.
ginoginoh Because the +5 and taunt is a buff to the card, the druid of the claw turns into another card.
A fair game? Obviously there weren't any mages.
idk why people are complaining i like the production adn tehe cicks
After a rathet boring first series, this was epic!
Oh i remember Mibk was from the SC2 scene and he was tank for 15 minutes every turn. So rude taking that long. So Blizz finally added in the timer for friendly game, right?
We love you kripp, should call your next team : team orange juice
that was a fun match to watch, but wow Ek0p played so recklessly
holy shit kripp is a godly caster
I really like the format: Competitive Hearthstone while not taking it overly serious. I especially like the slightly humorous tune of the little comments about keywords etc.

what's up with the random lens flares during interviews? lol
can you add hero power + claw to equal 3dmg? cause if so that first game wouldve ended earlier
It's an old video. The defender is pre-patch.
I find it funny how tall Kripp is, compared to the rest of his team.
monk and kripp ftw
Krip really looks like Turkish :D He is the most wise in my opinion.
I root for the underdog team where Kipp is at! :))
watched the video for kripp :)
wow kripp did great on commentating, hope he gets too more often
Kripp doing well :)
0:48:02 It's Monk's turn but it's eKop who's shown on the camera, lameee
I dident like the first episode, but this was actually pretty awesome. Ekop is an awesome streamer, sad he didnt take it
Bad misplay at 45:30 that could have cost him the game. Had he done that, he could have saved his Claw the next turn, which would have been useful later.
This should be renamed to "Cringe Night".
Yea.. Whats up with the girls? And the wheel for that matter.
I have to disagree. Its not about seriousness, its just cringe worthy. I realize thats completely subject though, but then again to me, thats all that really matters. Great games though! Love Krip in the commentator seat.

is this on tv if so when is it and what channel?
4:46 - "Kripp is known to be an avid Orange Juice drinker. His standards are very high when it comes to dat OJ." lmfao
fuck yea team no name!!!
~50 min. - can you swipe your own creatures? Of yes, swipe the golem, run Silvana into Ysera?
