    Here we walk through the stages of building a barrier free shower.
    This is the best solution for people requiring the use of a wheelchair, while still being luxurious and beautiful.

    this is close to what I want. In Thailand many walk in showers have that sort of partial wall barrier for water spray control.

    Fine job... Widely practiced in EU for any new built showers.

    Nice job. my .off the cuff thoughts: could second drain been avoided placing the liner drain at the threshold area extending from the out from the wall? To me, the drain in this are would look better also.

    Sirs; I was wondering if you could send my a copy of your plans to install the open shower with 60" drain... I wanted to install one , with a tempered glass wall instead of the solid quartztopped wall, and I wanted something to show the permit people... I'm planning on using a complete water proofing build.., what ever it takes...
    Can you help with the plans..?

    Project looks very well done. I don't understand why this isn't standard in the west. Vietnam, which is relatively poor when compared to US and Canada builds most of it's bathrooms this way as standard.

    How slick is that floor tile when wet with not many grout lines?

    • @hammerdownhomerenovationsg1846
      @hammerdownhomerenovationsg1846  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not at all. The floor and wall tile look similar, but the floor tile has a rougher texture to avoid any slippery surfaces.

    How come you did not put in a pan liner and mud?

      Because we used a far superior method.

      Dick response. Tell him you pitched the sub floor to the drain. And schluter is not far superior with what is in the market today. You did a nice job however.

      Wedi would have ben y first choice. They can do the curbless shower with only placing the subfloor down to the top of the rafters using nailers. Wedi is more than schluter and not sure it is far superior but they are the only one who offers a simple solution to the curbless shower problem. Wedi is a much stiffer product but not sure that means better.@@renaissancemen1
