For those of you, who have been following my channel for a while now, you know how much I love the Disney princesses
It is because of that love that I had decided to deep dive into the lore of what makes a Disney princess, a Disney princess.
So I made a video explaining what the criteria is for each princess in order to be considered part of Disney’s official line up. I also explained which princesses did not make the cut, even if it seemed they were a shoo-in to be official.
The Disney princess criteria at first glance seems very vague- however, it is actually extremely specific and methodical.
It has given us, fans, a better understanding of what we should be looking for when the next Disney princess movie arrives-
Now, because it was so much fun diving into the princess criteria, I thought it was only appropriate that we take a closer look at the princes.
I thought if there was an official Disney princess lineup and criteria, then there has to be one for the princes too.
So in today’s video we are discussing the official Disney prince line up- Who makes the cut and why?

This is fun! No one really talks about the princes. The criteria you used for the princes is logical. I agree with your list. My favorite prince is Prince Charming even though Belle is my favorite princess. I feel like maybe they should get together. LOL!

Well Eugene/Flynn is technically a prince by birth according to the cartoon series since his dad is the King of the Dark Kingdom. XD Also my favorite Prince of this list Eric is pretty great too though as a close second. :)
I tried to not go off any sequels or shows just because a lot people say they aren't canon :) but i totally agree lol

You forgot some facts fans learned from sequels, such as the fact that Aladdin's father is the King of Thieves(Aladdin and the King of Thieves), and Flinn Rider's long lost parents are a king and queen(Tangled The Series).
