Great video Dave!! Years ago I pulled out a grille assembly when they were readily still available the same way you did. Car was junk but restored the grille and grille cradle and hung it on my garage wall. Wished I never sold it but was offered big money for it.
I see you are still active which is a good thing as I admire your composure when working for Mark Worman (who I think is impossible to work with no matter his Mopar Knowledge). Already subscribed and will follow your videos even if I am a GM guy myself who likes 68-70 Chargers. Thanks for taking the time to share your videos.
Thanks so much for the great information Dave! It's also really nice to see the original factory finishes as it all came apart. I'm working on a '69 R/T.
Mike smart again you did a fantastic job you explained that very well back in the late '80s I had a yellow 68 RT with 440 in it automatic air car and I had just a regular 68 383 automatic car both chargers nice cars wished I had them back but you did a fantastic job and God bless you
Dear Dave, thanks so much for this video! I watched it last fall prior to disassemblig my '68 Charger and pulling the drive train out the bottom. Now i'm reinstalling the grill , bumper, valance and splash guards and rewatched this video for your guidance! Hope to be back on the road in a few weeks, as I'm waiting for exhaust components from ECS in CA.. Do you or your fans know of any orig. '68 mufflers or resonators? Scott, the new owner of ECS is going to produce date coded '68 mufflers and resonators as soon as he gets some orig. date codes. Thanks again!!
I noticed that too...lol it seems like I got a notification during the video that made my voice skip when I was talking and it made me sound like 98 instead of 68, I don't know...but it is pretty obvious that it's a 68 ha ha.
Restoring a 68 in central TEXAS right now so thanks a million for the great video!
I like how David explain his work, not trying to be a comedian like the guy on graveyard thank you David you are a good humble and nice man!😎

Funny looking ‘98 Charger…. 😂
Picked up a 68 non-R/T Charger last summer. I'll be watching for tip & tricks brother. Do you rebuild/restore individual parts?
Yes I restore as many of the original parts as possible.
@@DavidReaDBRestorations I just watched your interview on Cars, Stars & Roll bars. I'll hit you up via email.
Yea he said 98
Dave?! Did I hear you correctly?! You said 98 Dodge Charger?!
I'm sure he misspoke, that was a 68.
