I have been driving for six months and love it. Handsome, great pleasure to drive, and its not too small. If you also like firm cars, I strongly recommend.
The horrible ride quality on many new cars that try too hard to be sporty really puts me off, but it seems like the general public doesn't care much about that. The super-firm Honda HR-V has sold extremely well where I live despite its (to me) unacceptable ride quality.
Also due to run-flats I think. I put a massive emphasis on good ride quality when buying a car. It's why I've had 5 Series BMs instead of 3 and I ditched the run-flats on 18s for a set of standard tyres. Series 3 XJ12 is the way to go, I think... or maybe a Silver Spirit.
Lewis72 I find on my 3 series that not running the run-flats causing the handling to feel a bit mushy, i can feel the roll on the tyres. Bear in mind i run the M Sport which has the sporty suspension and is the 2011 model where they actually softened the suspension by 30% to give better ride quality with the runflats, so it may be due to that extra softness in the springs that makes the jump to non runflats so large.
..funny how most reviews, tend to forget the new Volvo cars, that have won every price in a lot of categories...in this case, Volvo XC40. No offence BMW lovers...
Sad that BMW chassis are...oh lord! th-cam.com/video/EMnUy--YVuc/w-d-xo.html If also find it sad that for example the Peugeot 3008 drives better and looks better interior and exterior, BMW should really start to try harder!?
I really like Ginny and her reviews! Good job!
Not a fan of crossovers but the X2 looks more dynamic and desirable than the X4/6
would love to have been at that meeting when they discussed not having android auto
ME too! Totally bugs me I can't use my phone and car setup to the fullest!
It still makes me laugh how some car manufacturers still do not support Android Auto. It only accounts for 86.2% of the global market.
Not in USA
Great Video Review. I particularly like the quality of the materials used In the X2 and I would recommend the 20d SE as the pick of the range

I wanna but it how is it now?
What about consumption?
“Just isn’t as much headspace in here as the X1” .... *reaches about a whole foot above her head*
It’s not really an SUV at all. It’s just a shame they have to call it an X car to massively increase the sales.
I wonder why i see so many ads.
This is the only suv that i actullay like the look of good job bmw.

I don't think that handling is affected much. It's the perception of it, I think.

Are you in the US? The HR-V isn't really a competitor to the X2, more a Qashqai competitor...
Wow nice car, can you compare it
I just find it funny the X2 looks more like the current 1 series, just hiked up. BMW model naming logic.
Fantastic looking car and usually I can't stand BMW!
i actually really like the design of this car!
Lovely looking car but I wish they would change the interior, it’s getting boring & long overdue for a serious redesign.
Did BMW just make a good looking SUV?
BlackWind no
No
The X1, X3 and X5 all look great if you ask me. This looks like a fat potato. I’d get any of the aforementioned over it.
no
Scooper MG yup
X1 looks better for me. Or, even better, the 1-series
Good to see that a lot of things, that used to be options on BMW are standard. Welcome in the new millenium BMW.
looks a fine motors but i think those bmw badges just behind the rear doors look out of place, if i bought it, id want them removed
Thats a harken back to the 60's
Good work Ginny
Robert
Those scuff plates want to be on the bumper not on plastic on the inside of the boot, Who ever came up with that wants sacking.
Nice eshyouvee!
HOW are BMW interior designers still employed ?!
Is it just me ??? That x2 looks like Tucson and i30 rear!!!!
It looks like a horse shoe.
i am young fellow and i d still prefer the x1, the d2 doesn’t look good from the front, the headlights and the kidneys look wierd.
looking at those jeans on the host make me so uncomfortable. Great review though.
gene978 Renault captur
G
Great-looking vehicle but it looks more like a bigger hatchback than an SUV.
she looks gorgeous, but I like a smooth and comfortable ride, will she be able to iron out those pot holes I wonder ....
David I thought u were talking about Ginny for a minute 😂😂😂
He was
David yes I agree but what about the car?
Ive noticed that too I think most are probably sad singletons Ewen The trouble is they dont realise how dumb they look typing that nonsense
She has to be short cuz that car is a lot smaller in person to me and Im 5'10''
What a missed opportunity with the interior.
That's a beautiful car
..funny how most reviews, tend to forget the new Volvo cars, that have won every price in a lot of categories...in this case, Volvo XC40. No offence BMW lovers...
Bmw back again with the same interior design...
Dat Gucci belt
An inflated hatchback that costs 10k more.
8 BMW badges on the exterior . 4 on the body and 4 on the wheels... overkill
The BMW badge on the rear panel looks ridiculous
Whilst this car looks good it is NOT an SUV.
Cool. !!!
Big diesel engine still in 2018 new model? Really? Germans are stubborn...
It's not an SUV!
Lack of Android is a big mistake BMW
Ginny please, some make up and nails done would be great!
Because it is funny.
$2000000NT in Taiwan! 😱
The interior looks horrible
BMW's quality control isn't what it was: some chump let it leave the factory with its grille on upside- down.
God no! another Éshyouvi....
NT$2000000up
😍😍😍😍😍
Awesome car but Ginny is definitely a badge snob
The car is rubbish, this lady is fabulous 😍
Low profile tyres......Biggest load of Bollox ever .......they Ruin many potentially great cars.
I hate this car
Sad that BMW chassis are...oh lord! th-cam.com/video/EMnUy--YVuc/w-d-xo.html

another very EXPENSIVE POINTLESS car
Expense is a matter of perspective. I dont understand how its pointless though, all cars are practical to all people for different reasons.
“Doesn’t have android auto” that’s because android is 💩
ugly car the annoying thing is bmw can do so much better that this
Why review it as a car for breeders ?
Who cares about getting kids out of the back seat..........
YAWN
Fake SUV. It’s a hatchback.
this channel gets worse and worse video by video
Arturo Vidal. Just because it's free, you don't have to watch this channel. There are many others.
Car Freak you are right
Gtfo
Pointless car. The BMW range is full of useless and ugly cars.
Really not appealing at all actually.
