Sir, I want to know what ORIFICE does?

An orifice is a small opening or hole, often found in pipes or containers, used to control the flow of a fluid (liquid or gas). Here's how it works:
      1. Flow Restriction: When a fluid passes through an orifice, the small size of the opening creates a restriction in the flow path. This restriction causes the fluid to accelerate as it passes through the orifice.
      2. Bernoulli's Principle: According to Bernoulli's principle, as the fluid's velocity increases, its pressure decreases. So, as the fluid accelerates through the orifice, its pressure drops.
      3. Flow Rate Control: The size of the orifice and the pressure difference across it determine the rate of fluid flow. A smaller orifice or a larger pressure difference will result in a higher flow rate, while a larger orifice or a smaller pressure difference will result in a lower flow rate.
      4. Applications: Orifices are used in various applications, including in flow meters to measure the rate of fluid flow, in control valves to regulate fluid flow, and in nozzles to produce a high-velocity jet of fluid.
      5. Calculations: Engineers use mathematical equations like the orifice equation to calculate the flow rate through an orifice based on its size, the properties of the fluid, and the pressure difference across it.
Overall, orifices are crucial components in fluid mechanics for controlling and measuring the flow of fluids in various industrial and engineering processes.

A genset is extremely similar to a gasoline car, or even more to a diesel car. So the genset requires lubrication because it has a diesel engine, which requires lubrication, because it has moving parts, as shown in this video.
