I have a question I replace injectors readjust valve adjustment according to spec. on 1hd-fte engine but I can’t start it now 4and 5 cylinder not getting fuel from fuel injection pump what do you think what could I do ? Thank you
Not all fuel subsystems use coolers. This depends if what the engine is used for. Some management systems are designed to pump way more fuel than needed to actually fuel the engine (sometimes more than 60%) which is used to cool down injection apparatus in the system, then goes back to the tank. The fuel tank, being cylindrical shaped, made of aluminum and subjected ram air (if were talking about highway truck applications) is enough to cool the system. Many systems nowadays actually use heaters to bring back the lubricity lost by constant filtering of excess fuel going through system for cooling.
