Hi Matt if I am not mistaken you were onboard Waverley last year sailing from Southampton. I have sailed on her many times over the years after preservation and before. She sailed as an LNER vessel from Craigendoran on the Clyde as a replacement for the original Waverley lost at Dunkirk. Hope you had a great time onboard. Regards Tom
That was an incredible crossing that you have made including seeing a submarine. Where you arrived at your destination you could see for miles and miles around on a sunny beautiful day. 🚢🕶❤
The M V Oldenburg you moored behind is the Lundy ferry which sails from Ilfracombe and Bideford, my wife and I sailed on the Waverley on the Medway a good few years back, it is a good day out.
Nice, something different. But I'd get seasick. I tried riding the Mersey waters in Liverpool on one of the ferries, and I didn't like the up-and-down motion of it at all. I couldn't look at the scenery, as I suffered seasickness quite badly. Not everyone can stomach a boat or ferry ride, and I'm one who can't.
Great scenery, and a great ship. Brilliant Engineering.
What a lovely trip, thanks for sharing your day out. What a wonderful ship. The engine room was fascinating too.
Thanks very much 😊
Great shots of the piers and arrivals. Thanks. Rmb
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Thanks for sharing, Matt, really enjoyed the trip! ( I used to be a marine engineer…) 🇨🇦
So you know a thing or 2 about shipping then. Thank you 😊

Yeah I was. I'm hoping to do that trip again this September
I was on it in Scotland a few weeks ago she’s beautiful! Shame there’s not more like her
Yeah she is and always good to travel on her 😊

Yeah was nice to see Oldenburg. Not seen it for years
Great video here Matt, hope you had a great time.
Yeah was a great day out. Thanks David
Another road trip? Nice.
Any possible homage to Wallace & Gromit going to the Moon? John BC, Canada

Thank you 😊
Don't they have train ferrys that can carry trains across water?
Yeah they do but not in the UK
