Hope you guys enjoy this weeks episode where we switch gears and target some saltwater fish. We met up with our good friend Ryan Griffin to try our shot at redfish on the fly. Ryan is a fantastic guy and was very welcoming to us trout guys!

It was an honor. Well done boys. See you next time.
ryan g can’t wait to get back man! Thanks again for getting us out there👊🏻
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Keith Rayan Instablaster =)
Loved this! Especially the couple minutes of trying to cast to that tailing fish that eventually got away. I loved watching that whole exchange of the coaching from Ryan and the casting technique. I'm always a fan of watching the ones that get away too. Makes me feel better about my own fishing haha
Travis Hatfield glad you dig man! It’s intense out there on the salt and the ones that get away humble you for sure.
I don’t understand how this channel doesn’t have more subscribers. I go to school at Clemson so it’s really cool to see someone fishing the same waters I fish on TH-cam 👍
great video!! i felt my heart racing for you just watching.. absolutely love trout fishing but salt water flats will always have a special place in my heart. Tight lines from Georgia!
Love it! Culver's...excellent choice! Thanks for the vid.
Great to see trout hunters down here in the salt. Pretty funny with the mends and trout sets!
Haha yep gotta love it.
Got my first redfish on the fly last October with Mark Nutting of LoCo Fly Fishing Charters, That rush of going tight with your first red is spectacular! If y’all ever need someone in Hilton Head I would check him out, he’s a freaking wizard
Man that looks like a lot of fun, sweet video man.
Thanks dudes
Great video! There's definitely a learning curve with catching redfish.
Stumbled upon your stuff a few weeks back and I’ve been loving it. Didn’t know you were from MN originally but so am I and living in Greenville, SC now so your videos have been great for making me want to get out more in this area and knowing what opportunities we have down here versus what I grew up with up north!
Fantastic gentlemen, makes me homesick! Miss those days....
Another great vid guys. Enjoyed that.
Looks like you guys have to invest in a few 8 weights! Wish NC was closer to Indiana.
Awesome film as usual Scottie
Brent Register thanks Brent!
Redfish are awesome! I hope I can go fishing for them soon.
I think I’ve watched all of your videos at least twice now
Love to hear it bro! Thanks for the support
this was a fishing masterpiece. keep up the work.
Holy cow this is wild! I just randomly stumbled upon this video, but then I recognized where you were fishing and realized that I actually drive by on my boat around minute 4:25. We saw you guys filming and assumed, because it looked like a professional camera, that you were making it for a video, but I never thought I would actually find the video. I wasn’t even trying to find it when I clicked on the video. Crazy coincidence so I thought I would share
Dude that so nuts haha. When I was fighting that fish there was a boat that went by and I heard someone say "i think that's badfish" so maybe that was y'all. super crazy you found this though!
Runing Reds , seems easy with all that inshore. Absolutely amazing. Come on to NC and we can chase them in the surf. talk about tuff casting.
Great video guys!
Great vid fellas 💥🤙
River Right Outdoors thanks y’all
Like fish & nice fishing 👍👍👍
Hell yeah!!! I love trout with all my heart but its so damn cool to fish in the salt
Probably Skunked salt is so bad ass
Awesome video. Thank you
may I ask what fly you were using. I have tried it all and I cannot get em on the fly. spinning reels, just fine, but fly is another story. haha.
Great video! This is also a good demonstration of why you should work on your casting before going on a trip. Seeing trailers usually makes you lose your shit, and having the cast down is one less thing to worry about.
Rich Plecker amen to that. It’ll humble you real quick
I live in the SC midlands and always drive up to NC to fish. Sounds like I needs to drive the other way on 26 and try to catch some Reds. That looks like a lot of fun! Can you catch these from the bank or do you really need a flats boat to get to them?
I've only fished for them on a boat but I'm pretty sure you can catch them from land just depends on where you are.
I have lived my whole life fishing in Charleston and I actually live right in front of that Culvers but now moving outside of Boone for the trout fishing. Small world
Culver’s for the win baby!
Where in MN are you from? My family is from Hibbing and LOVE fishing the Boundary Waters
Hey dude, fantastic video as all ways. I loved how you changed it up this time and chased redfish in the Lowcountry. I'm hoping to hook into some myself, any tips? Looked like you had in Charleston. Fishing for reds in the salt flats is different from trout in a river I'm sure. Looking forward to your next video! Good luck and have fun!
p.s. Are you going to do another series like the Our Water Adventure one that you did last summer?
Thanks so much, man! I don't know much myself so I can't help you too much, unfortunately. Your best bet is to call a fly shop and ask them for advice. This summer we are doing weekly videos like last summer, just don't have a name for it. Enjoy!
My pleasure. Thanks. Keep it up!
Woah woah you're originally from Minny?! Ever come back to fish? We should hit up the driftless
Heck yeah man, used to live in Eden Prairie. Hoping to make it up there again to fish sometime!
Love the content
Living in South Carolina and I recognized almost everywhere you were
Is the first pet of the video next to nowwell creek.
whats your favorite setup for catchin bass on fly
I picked up a fly rod this year but rarely use it because it just seems so sloppy compared to my spinning rod
Did Coors sponsor this video?
What rod and reel setup are you using ? Awesome video!
Cole McCormick I believe it was a sage x 8 weight and some hatch reel
Brooo love the vids
GO GET OUTDOORS thanks bro🙏🏻
Awesome awesome video! Where'd you get the music?
Dallas Trane artlist.io
Awesome
Yasss
What type of shirt are you wearing on that first day? Short sleeve. Is it Howler Bros?
One of the Aftco short sleeve button downs
sick man, love the informative fishing you do. great work. Subbed and liked! Help us grow and support for fresh and saltwater content and some ON FLY from Charleston, SC Cheers
Dude
This makes me feel a little better about how bad I suck.
So funny they use a net for a 5inch brookie but not a big ass redfish. Lol
It’s the luck of the silver bullet lol
jonah womble haha glad someone caught that!
If u ever want to hook up on some monster tarpon and redfish on the fly hit me up. Got a house at Georgetown and 17 foot Maverick. Got my own show too so would love to collab.
Get out of the fast lane…
this was a fishing masterpiece. keep up the work.
