The direct overhead drone shots were outstanding in this ep. There's something about the shots high up but close enough to see the line in the water and the fish chasing the strip... such awesome videography. Love your shit, Scotty!
So refreshing to watch “the real deal” capturing the challenges of getting the “take”, not just the glory moments. Very nice camera work watching the red fish tailing. Great job, guys! Enjoyed watching this!
Amazing series, would love to have some more salt water action! Seeing all the diversity of fly fishing styles/locations on your channel really shows how anyone can get into fly fishing regardless of location.
"You have to be one hundred percent present". So perfectly true. Wonderful story Scottie! I'm biased when it comes to sight casting to redfish, but this might be your best telling-a-fishing-story film to date. Thank you.
sweet vid ! as a lowcountry guy myself ive been wanting your channel to do this! also this felt so much more realistic than other tailing red vids because it shows not only the high but also the lows and the struggle
Great story-telling and cinematography! You really captured the adventure, excitement and disappointment that sight fishing for reds is all about. Some of those drone shots were epic in and of themselves, so thanks for bringing us along.
It’s bad to say but I now expect this type of quality films from Wild Fly. Absolutely top notch. Hands down best channel out there for fishing stories. As Junior would say “LETS GOOOO”!
Two terrific films that really draw you into the story. And yes, it really is about more than just the fish you catch. Great work folk and very much appreciated.
your production level if amazing. the combination of that plus the trips and the people along side of you makes this a must watch. i look forward to the next video
truly outstanding fly content, fellas. Great transitions into and out of the podcast to correlate with the footage, great vibe amongst the group, braving the elements for the experience. Thank y'all for sharing.
Finally got to watch part 2. I’ve fished SC coast a couple times but only diy on foot. I wish I could afford a guided trip into the flats during a flood tide. The guys you were with looks like they would be fun to fish with. There’s nothing like local knowledge of both the area and fish.
New to fly fishing and I love your videos so much. I love how this type of fishing gives that suspense! I didn’t even know this type of fishing existed.
I absolutely love the wild fly productions! Your videos are amazing! I get so pumped up and it makes me wanna fish everyday and explore as much as I possibly can. Keep the videos coming, and if you’re ever looking for some great smallmouth action I run a 3 day float trip every year in Virginia on the Shenandoah River. 🤙🏼
Awesome series gentlemen!! It really is all about the whole experience and the fish are just the icing on on the cake. I can't wait to toss some flies at some Reds some day. Great video!
Been working on getting into fly fishing for a long time. Had an incredible fly trip with Chad DuBose from Rivers and Glen in January of this year for redfish. It was windy and I struggled but Chad was on the fish. The juice is in me now though! From Charlotte, I can hit some of the South Mountains creeks to try to learn. Just need gear now...
Great video as usual. Is that the 70-200 GM lens or the 100-400 GM?. Would love to see an updated video showing off all of your new gear when you get the time
I live in western PA so I'm use to super shallow river smallmouth and wouldn't trade it for anything. However, I don't think id ever leave the water if i lived in an area like this.
Awesome production! I enjoyed these stories and currently listening to the podcast "behind the scenes". Loving the redfish content as I just recently spent some time the TX grass flats looking for these lovelies. No bites but got to see my first tailing fish as I was changing out my fly🤯 keep the good stuff coming! What boat do you all use?
Absolutely love it. Your content just keeps improving, I’ve been a big fan for about 2 years now and it’s so cool to see. I’ve been trying to get my first red on the fly from a kayak in NE Florida, wondering if y’all had any tips? Thanks!
I watched both episodes one and two and this was amazing. I fished my whole life and I am recently getting more into inshore and flats fishing as I bought a technical polling skip in the beginning of this year, and I am now taking up flyfishing starting this month. I have always wanted to make cool videos with my GoPro, but I am inexperienced with the editing side and just capturing the video in the right way is hard enough. You guys make it look so easy and amazing, I am now ready to quit my job and just fish and make videos lol. On a real note, I am curious what you guys do for work that allows you to be able to fish like this? I would love to fish more than just the weekends.
“Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” -Henry David Thoreau
Scotty I love that you mix the podcast parts in with the video it gives a ton more context
One of the best videos I’ve seen, I put it on the tv so the whole family could watch
You've become my top fishing channel to watch. I see the effort you put into both crafts; fishing and production. You inspire me.
such a great video dude
The direct overhead drone shots were outstanding in this ep. There's something about the shots high up but close enough to see the line in the water and the fish chasing the strip... such awesome videography. Love your shit, Scotty!
The videography is always top tier quality in Wild Fly productions. I really enjoyed this video and the reds. Cheers fellas

I honestly think this series is some of your best work to date. Looking forward to seeing the other videos you release this year!
This episode was so sick! Great camera work, drone and all. 👊🏻
"You have to be one hundred percent present". So perfectly true.
Wonderful story Scottie! I'm biased when it comes to sight casting to redfish, but this might be your best telling-a-fishing-story film to date.

Amazing video buddy. That makes me want to go straight to the Carolina coast and wing it!!! Awesome
Solid video gents. Way to finish it off with the LC boil. Enjoyed both parts.
Great story-telling and cinematography! You really captured the adventure, excitement and disappointment that sight fishing for reds is all about. Some of those drone shots were epic in and of themselves, so thanks for bringing us along.
I feel like the foley work and the drone footage took this one to the next level. Great work y'all!
So cool seeing you guys fish the exact spots I fished a couple months ago
Absolutely love this series of videos! Great job bro!
It’s bad to say but I now expect this type of quality films from Wild Fly. Absolutely top notch. Hands down best channel out there for fishing stories. As Junior would say “LETS GOOOO”!
Holy crap the shot at 11:21 and the ending shot are so beautiful with the music and the lead up to it 1000/100 👌👌👌
Yeah man. Tails in the grass and good friends on the boat. Not much more is better
As an SC native, I love this series Scottie! Awesome fishing. Love all the nice aerials too!

Mind blown is an understatement, incredible job Scotty and the boys! Cheer’s to y’all🤙🏼

Oh to be y'alls age again and to relive all of my experiences.
I really enjoyed the footage and drone footage, pro job dude!
Epic installment!
Love the flats style fishing!! Keep up the great content, your living the dream!
Epic cinematography! This may be my favorite Wild Fly Production yet! Makes me wish I was in the Lowcountry casting for reds!
That. Was. Superb.
Thanks for your great work and story sharing.
Yup... nothing short of phenomenal... AGAIN! I can't wait to see what you do the rest of the year! Crushin' it man!
Literally Right in my back yard what an awesome video…
Easily one of the best fishing videos out there. You should be proud of this. 👌
Food, beer, fishing!! Awesome two part series! Any guides you could recommend on HHI? Coming in August.

Too much fun watching this! Makes up for not being able to fish this summer!
AWESOME!!!
You guys are so good at all that you do...thanks.
New to fly fishing and I love your videos so much. I love how this type of fishing gives that suspense! I didn’t even know this type of fishing existed.
Absolutely inspiring film. Great job of capturing the southeast coast inshore fishing. Those big tides are challenging. Great job.
Got a text saying I was a shortlist winner. Thanks Tim Hester
that first eat was crazy even if you didn’t land him!
I like how y'all hit it off like you've been long time homies

Legit fella’s!
Awesome video! Just wondering what kind of boat y'all are running?
Awesome work, I really felt like I was on this trip with you guys! Photography work in the boat was amazing!

Always amazing videos. Killin it.
