I've looked at wigs but just can't go there, not me. I've felt humiliated, defeated and so sad. Your videos have given me hope and it's easy enough that I can do it. Thank you so much. You explain exactly what you are doing and why. It was also helpful hearing about taming down the sides if you have a round face. I have always been awful at doing my hair (and I'm 43, and have have pixie cuts since I was 18). And f.y.i...i love the messy style in you, it looks wonderful.
Hello Sheralee - do enjoy your pixie tutorials - I'm an 82 year old that started cutting my own hair during the lockdown in UK.I have found it so liberating to snip bits off [ only about a 1/4 of an inch ] every couple of weeks. The result is a very edgy pixie that I just love, similar to yours but much more rustic, haha. I do use a root booster, but blow dry it using my fingers instead of a brush and finish off with Bedhead worked through the dry hair x
I’m in the uk too. I love that you use Bedhead and etc and sound like you are young for your age. So much more fun to do that than the old shampoo and set 😂

Yes!!! Getting your hair to look smooth as it air dries…then getting the volume back! So few tutorials on that for short hair. I’ve had luck with the Redken One United spray for smoothing, as well as the WEN styling cream. But the volumizing part gets tricky! Today’s tips with the hairspray and wax I’ll try next
I am really amazed at the amount of products that you people in the west use to style your hair. It looks very beautiful. However, I never use my hair dryer or my straightener on a daily basis, nor the hair spray and wax etc. I love to use the mousse and that too when it is some special occasion. I liked the way you hair looked first with just air dryed. My hair looks like that only, only I try to add some volume in a natural way, I don't know how to explain that. Your hair is just like mine when allowed to air dry! Flat! I still have not mastered using the Enjoy Dry Wax, but I have had some success using the Aussie Instant Freeze to build volume. I hang my head over and start spraying and styling with my fingers. You did a great job. You could be a hair stylist! ❤🤗

I find it easier to use a 1 inch round curler cause it gives me the bounce I need but it is challenging on the right side of my hair you think I should get a flat iron for that part 🤔 ?? I keep Big & Sexy Powder Play in my car. Many times after getting my hair cut, it is limp and not styled the way I like. This powder adds tons of body to limp hair.
Finally got my cut and LOVE IT. I’ve got thick , curly/wavy hair and again REALLY THICK hair so using a blow dryer takes forever too - so I air dry and the place products and style once my hair is dry and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

It looks so good!!! I definitely dry my hair way less with a dryer compared to what I used to do. I have started using a lot of the L’ange hair products. Their dry shampoo smells so good! A nice light clean smell. Not perfumey at all!
Ooo, I'll have to look into that dry shampoo...always good to have something like that on hand just in case I decide to do this "no-blow dryer" styling more often😘

My personal opinion is that I preferred the air dried version...more natural looking, more youthful for you. I feel that when you start "locking" hair into place with hair spray, it ages us. Thanks for sharing.
