I mean, I loved the male actors roundtable too but GOD the profoundness and thoughtfulness in this conversation between these phenomenal actresses is absolutely off the charts! ✨✨✨WOMEN✨✨✨
my issue with these things is that men always get to just talk about acting because it's their job, but the women always wind up talking about the entirety of what it means to be a woman in this society, because we're STILL having these conversations about rejecting marginalization. which isn't their or the interviewer's fault, it's just very telling that while men get to talk about their career and profession, women are constantly being asked about gender and how it relates to their career.
It’s such a shame the moderator didn’t come up with better questions for Cynthia, but oh well, it’s always a joy to hear her speak regardless. Also love that Sairose was included in this table she’s still so underrated
This was a great group of actresses but it was a pity the interviewer missed the opportunity to get more insights from Cynthia and Danielle. Why ask Cynthia the same two basic questions she’s already answered a million times on the Wicked press tour? It was good, but imbalanced in the moderating. 🤷🏽♀️
Great conversation with incredible actresses but I'm a bit disappointed that the moderator asked Cynthia about her & Ariana crying during the Wicked press tour. If you watch their (FULL) interviews I think its pretty obvious why they're so emotional about this particular project. That time could've been spent asking a more interesting question.
Agreed. She only asked Cynthia two questions, both Wicked specific and both already-and more meaningfully-covered in other interviews, while everyone else had meaningful questions relating to their lives and work. There were a few times I thought for sure someone would refer to her roles in Harriet or The Color Purple, which related well to the discussions, but no.
@@Arnica_Burdock yes I also agree it was a bit lopsided. Other interviewers do a better job at making sure everyone has time to speak in a more balanced way. No hate to the interviewer it’s just disappointing.
You guys realise all questions are passed through PR agents and managers right? They want the crying to be brought up because it brings eyes and publicity
I looove Sairose Ronan. Even when she was a child in Atonement she was a fantastic actress. She is one of these actresses I can see working for decades.❤️
But very much agreed with the sentiments about lack of substantial questions being asked to Cynthia and Daniella. Good round table but would’ve been great if we could’ve gotten more from them💚
One of the best round tables I’ve seen. I love all of these incredible women. Especially loved how Cynthia defended her emotional press tour with Ariana. Such talent at that table.
I've watched dozens of these roundtable's (here and 'elsewhere')...and this is one of the best. These ladies are intelligent, candid, vulnerable, authentic, and intimate. A beautiful discussion all around!
Two questions to Cynthia? Are you freaking kidding me? Danielle barely asked anything… This moderator needs to get sacked and needs to apologise immediately!!
Bro they are free to talk whenever they want this was a pretty open discussion. To get upset because the people you wanted to talk didn't talk enough is crazy.
It’s such a shame the moderator didn’t come up with better questions for Cynthia, but oh well, it’s always a joy to hear her speak regardless. Also love that Sairose and Danielle were included in this table they’re both so underrated
I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️♥️
Demi is so long overdue for her Oscar. Despite being so talented and a trailblazer during the years she was active in movies, giving us great role after role, the Academy did her nasty. I hope she will be redeemed this time.
@@blackblake3658 And these two, too. I love Glenn Close. She and Jessica Lange are on the same level acting-wise, but I feel they are held to different standards.
@@MateLeob”she only in one movie” 💀💀 gurl first of all NO? And she literally in so many successful shows and movies. She’s literally 1 Oscar away from EGOT status. Sit down
She has actually been in another round tables before so she’s no stranger to this. She certainly belongs there as she has been in Hollywood movies and been on the awards circuit for years now even if she’s only getting attention from some fans now. She is a very well trained actress and singer and that alone that gives her the right to be there. Haters be damned.
Fun fact: Demi Moore’s production company had the rights to adapt Gregory Maguire’s novel, Wicked, into a film under Universal. But they didn’t pursue it, so Marc Platt was convinced by Stephen Schwartz to let him adapt it into a stage musical with Winnie Holtzman instead.
I wanted more attention for Cynthia. She deserved more and better questions. I needed to hear her words fired with passion for art and life 🔥. She's fresh air 🌬. She's water for any dehydrated heart💧. She's defying gravity with her feet firmly on the ground🌷. She's everything! ❤
One of the best roundtables ever, all these women are FANTASTIC actresses and in the best movies. Danielle is DEFINITELY one to watch. Cynthia is just anointed beautiful human. Love Zoe, Kate, Demi and Soairse. Kate gives me boss mentor vibes for sure.
Kate Winslet...MY GOD!! I'm so sorry it took me until now to know what a deep, smart, interesting person you are!! As a woman, thank you for everything that comes from your beautiful mind and mouth!! 🙏🙇♀️
I always love these roundtable convos during awards season! What a fantastic table of ladies this year and all wonderful projects and AMAZING performances!
They really brought out the most unthoughtul questions for Cynthia Erivo All these other women got amazing thought provoking questions but Erivo only got questions that they think the public would like…..
Kate is such a thoughtful intelligent actress,I bet she's a great colleague and friend on a film set,I hope she gets an Oscar nod for Lee it was one of her best for a long time, not that she's ever been bad.
Not a lot of people like them and what would anderson talk about? Her thong bikini on Baywatch and her sex tape... angelina has made a lot of crappy films like by the sea, another badly directed movie take the hint angelina dont direct films 😊
Why wasn’t Fernanda Torres invited? She’s nominated for the Golden Globes and possibly the Oscars. She’s one of the most talked-about actresses right now, and her work in I’m Still Here is impeccable. Such a missed opportunity!
The best actors round table I’ve watched. Incredible and important conversations and I’ve come out inspired. Cynthia did deserve better questions but other questions were great.
This roundtable was INCREDIBLE ✨ I love all the interactions, you could feel like they were in a sisterhood. Love every minute of it. Wish they had more interesting questions for Cynthia and Danielle tho.
Excellent !! These women are the best. It’s not a criticism, but it’s just a thought, it would’ve been wonderful to have included Meryl Streep and Michelle Yeoh included on this panel. And I’ve been wonderful to explore DANIELLE‘s experience in the Star Wars universe and to discuss Kate Winslet‘s experience with the movie Revolutionary Road. All of these ladies are so inspiring. I really enjoyed this round table. Thank you.
Also, when they were talking about being in character and having to come out of it after the work, I would’ve loved to hear Demi Moore talk about how she came out of G.I. Jane.
Zoe revealed she knew nothing about "Wicked" when she suggested they might make a sequel to it, before everyone pointed out she had filmed a two-part movie in advance and that was why she said she was never going to be the character again, etc. It's funny because Zoe was the frontrunner before the film came out and everyone praised Ariana as a scene stealer... so Zoe is going to watch Ariana win all these awards and not understand why.
