It's been so long since I've gotten to sit down and be present with your energy for more than 15 minutes. You've been missed in South Texas. Thanks for sharing. 🤝🏻👋🏻
Elaborating on you being missed in South Texas... Corpus Christi to be more specific. Since summer 96 (plus or minus 1) when you played at the Cole Park Amphitheater right on the Bay and I said to you the most boneheaded thing an extremely nervous and admiring fan could have said to you after your set. I was 17 at the time, there with my girlfriend, and crossed paths with your "how did you find me here" album the year before. I still know (easily) every syllable of every song from that album. Probably the first CD I ever completely wore out from use (as opposed to neglect) and had to buy another. I walked up to you with my girlfriend and asked you why you didn't play "eye of the hurricane". To this day it haunts me I didn't have something, ANYTHING, better to say to you. Yes I am aware of how unnecessary and unreasonable I am to be haunted by such a thing from a kind musician and storyteller such as yourself. It's just one of those very few tiny, unimportant, easily forgettable to everyone but you events that accidentally got put in the lifetime regret drawer. Maybe keeping it in there subconsciously gives me a better perspective on all the BIG stuff that really earned their spot in there? What I would say to you if I could do it again is what I'll end this note with. Your music means a lot to me. Sincerely, Thank you.
You remind me that “you will always have what you gave to love”, and I am humbled, as I have loved very little in this life, so far. I pray for the wisdom to know how to learn to give live.
It's been a long time since I have enjoyed the entertainer, story-teller, artist. Thanks so much nice break in a busy day.
Wilcox..yo captured me. I couldn’t hear myself away.
This looks like something I’m going to enjoy.
Thank you from France
Dude. I’ve never seen two cables on the neck at the same time. Such innovation.
