For regular paws you just draw your hand and then draw a bigger paw shape around it. For puffy paws you make fingers of foam and then make the finger pattern with ductape

I get my fur from Joann. (A fabric shop) but a lot of fursuit makers get their fur from Big Z Fabrics (an online shop) Joann has a lot of fur but not too many colors to choose from. (When I went, I only saw black, brown, white, pink, and I think blue)
Why didn't I come here before I made mine..? Mine was way harder to make than these ones... I made foam fingers, traced a palm and finger shape onto some fabric (Blue) then the back of the hand in white. Sewed the two sides of the fingers on the palm and back of the hand so there were two halves and now stitching the singers and edges together XD I haven't even finished the second paw!
One quick question: how many yards of fabric would I need to make a pair of paws and a pair of arm sleeves? Using the amount of yard(s) you would use. (Combined amount if that makes sense)
What i do is, i take a glove and hot glue two of the fingers tigether and then i attach the fur to the back but i don't sew it all the way cuz i add stuffing. I add more stuffing where the fingers are and add less where the rest of the hand is. Then i attach the fur to the front and shave it. After i do that i add the paw marking things with felt and for claws i just buy some
Any Oster should be good. I choose one in the middle (not too cheap and not too expensive) and it still works fine :) I bought mine at a local pet shop (so no link)

I have a question about stuffing, do you stuff outside the lining or where the fingers go?, it was a bit connfusing!
The stuffing goes between the fur and lining in the fingers

Get a partial, then when your older you could get a full suit
You can get a dino mask and paint it (maybe fur it) because the straps are adjustable! Many young and even adult furs use them as fursuits!
