To anyone who are wondering if you can use anything else than an electric knife: Yes, you can use scissors instead. And the foam I use is upholstery foam, the link is in the description

Furry haters also need to keep in mind that getting these things aren’t cheap either. A full suit without padding starts at $4,000+ and can take 80+ hours of work! And then there’s fursuits that are ultra realistic or have moving parts.
@@darwinstevens810 not to mention the price for what's the word I'm looking for- my brain isnt working right now but I know what they're called, the suits with padding to make it look like animal legs, or drop crotch suits. Not only are they expensive, but they're extremely hard to move in.
Frost Fire digitgrade is the word you’re looking for. And it’s hard to get custom cause you also have to sent in a duct tape mould of your body to they can make sure it fits correctly

Making a fur suit looks pretty easy, it just takes a lot of practice, and even if it is your first fur suit if you take enough time it will be like your 50th one! :D ive never made one but I really want to

For people who wear glasses and that want a fursuit but don’t have money to get contacts or not many fursuit makers make heads to fit glasses. This is your way to go. Make sure to measure with your glasses, and not the head alone. Trust me i’m in the middle of making a fursuit head and I wear glasses. It’s a bit more work to make it fit, but it’s worth it.

I think for people who have a little experience in 3d design, it would be a great idea to do a 3d model of your head to get references for carving at almost any time!
i made a fursuit head with random things around my house i didn’t even watch a tutorial or anything. im really dum. it did look good though besides the fact that i had to used fabric in stead of fur. using this video for my next try.
