The reason is because the diff is not center on any car. The gear in your diff is offset on every car so the diff doesn’t sit perfect in the middle. Learned this from my uncles foxbody when he got radials it’s super noticeable. usually on every RWD car one wheel sticks out further
@@chris_borges usually RWD cars gear sits on the left side so because of that your diff favors the left side a little more than the right in terms of placement. We thought something was off too but if you take measurements of your diff it’ll be off by a little to whichever side your gear is on
Literally just bought a set of upper arms for my 10th gen civic because I had the same issue, one side was poking out more than the other. That and because I don’t have money to replace tires due to my camber 😂
Not sure if it would work on the BRZ but for us VW guys that rear fitment issue is kinda common. We have to adjust the rear subframe to get them even on our cars, not sure but maybe it could be done for the brz as well.

I think it has to do with newer cars in general, I have a couple newer model vehicles and after suspension work and set of wheels the left side seems to poke more than the right.
I think the new 86 might be my first new car, I’d get a brz but the markup is insane I see dealers asking 46k for one like that’s not more than a STI 😂
A lot of work....more than I would want to do on mine. I'll just stick to the stock ones though I did change out the 17" tires as soon as I got it. I like the look but wow,to get there takes a lot of time and work.....and I'm too lazy...lol.
Put like a brick or something behind and in front of the front wheels (chalk the wheels) whenever u got the car at an angle like that, especially if ur doing fitment stuff. If the car bumps back or forward a hair too much the jackstand can fall over and drop the car. Never trust the ebrake to do all the work.
