I like this bike, I remember when they first came out... I would like to see a comparison of the original price to what you end up putting into the restoration, very enjoyable to watch.
Great project bike, has potential for being fully restored to original condition. Cafe racers are a dime a dozen, original bikes become rarer and more valuable every year.
Just curious, did you read a shop manual for this bike before you started? Do you have a budget for the rebuild? Are you going to keep the bike or flip it? What brand is the neat little trailer? Thanks!
No shop manual, just some stuff on TH-cam, I would like to keep it under 3k, will be selling it when i am done! Not sure brand of trailer! But i fixed it up and sold it for the cost of the bike!
That's a good deal. Thought about flipping a motorcycle but don't quite have the electrical knowledge. Will stick to toolboxes and bicycles for now. Thanks for the great content!
Definitely going to replace all wiring and chrome parts! Luckily i basically got it for free considering i sold the trailer for more than i paid for it all 👍🏻
That’s about how i felt when i looked at it, luckily i was able to sell the trailer for more than i paid for it all, so in a way they did pay me to take it 😄 it is nice to have to learn on for sure

Thanks so much!! I will definitely keep a tally of how much it costs to restore!
Pura nostalgia... Parabéns pelo projeto top.
Thank you so much! 🙌🏻

emory the crank and put in new bearings. rod and main - you'll be good
That is what i was leaning towards as well! 👍🏻
$450 for the trailer and bike. Looking forward to the journey and finish line
Thanks!! More to come soon! I actually paid $280 for the trailer and bike 👍🏻

If you find a cheap enough motorcycle, it would be a good opportunity to learn 😃

Free is even better 😁
motor is not as bad
I was surprised to see the motor was pretty clean on the inside for the most part!
Let me guess they paid you to take the bike and you bought the trailer so it was all free in the end...
Not quite, i paid $280 for the bike and trailer. I fixed up the trailer and sold it for $300, so was close to getting the bike for free
not valuable enough to restore. i'd pay 100 no more. it clearly sat outside too long every piece of chrome every electrical component needs replaced

Hi Florida Man Garage, amazing video as always! How can I contact you? Could you please share your email?

I would take it if owner paid me to haul it away!🫣🤢
