Naadan Mathi Curry / Kerala Style Fish Curry /Sardine Curry
Ingredients:
Sardine ( Mathi ) - 250g ( after cleaning )
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - a pinch
Curry leaves
Small onion - 10
Green chilli - 3
Onion - 3 tbsp
Crushed garlic - 1 tbsp
Crushed ginger - 1 tbsp
Chilli powder - 3 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Tomato puree - 1 Tomato ( medium )
Malabar Tamarind ( Kudampuli ) - 2 to 3 pieces
Salt
Hot water - 1 3/4 cup ( 1/4 cup + 11/2 cup)
Coconut oil - 1 tsp
