    This is just INCREDIBLE!! I would love to see more of these, a LOT more!! Talk about TALENT AND SKILL!!. Just WOW!
    I grew up around pulling, my uncle has a modified w/ 3 blown Chevy's, became very close friends w/ the Bsntrr's (especially Ralph...and RIP to Ralph, got to meet him a few times in detail over the years and such a great guy and an engineering genius..!)
    Seeing these innovations, ckunter-rotatung Allison's, the ability to keep.them alive and have bearings to keep them in operation and help the sport in Europe and the States is incredible!
    This kinda made my entire weekend! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME 👌

    Nothing contributes to a good night's sleep more than having dozens of prepped-and-ready-to-go V12 crankshafts, and thousands of duplicate parts for your pulling engines. Well-stocked here is a considerable understatement.

      @@winduptractorpulling1208 No doubt this is a team effort, but no less impressive are the team's material resources, which your video tour made obvious.

    This is amazing, it’s a racine garage and a museum.
    Are they producing around 9000 hp a engine?

    • @pullingworld
      @pullingworld ปีที่แล้ว +1

      About 2700 to 3000 - depends on which version of supercharger and impeller is used. It's an ongoing development.

    allison more European pulling then here in states we like the 3 v8 style then 2 v12s

    @darrenjones6296 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    We run a super stock tractor in the states and have had good results with the pro puller tires over the Mitas give them a try

    • @WWPTV
      @WWPTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If Pro Puller bests Mitas sponsoring .. Just kidding. The Pro Pullers on high-wheel speed tractors weren't that impressive yet.

    Do they run more spark advance on the exhaust-side coils than the intakes? I think I remember reading the Allison ran different spark advance exhaust to intake.
    Holy cow! That 3rd lightweight tractor is amazing from all the lightweight parts. What's next? Carbon fiber connecting rods and titanium crankshafts in the Allisons?
    Allison Wonderland is right! 5 crankcase assemblies ready for build. Flow bench for Allison head. (What does an Allison head flow?) V3420 crankcase from EJ Potter's tractor. Main bearings from a German source. I'd be totally amazed if you had rod bearings.

    • @WWPTV
      @WWPTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no spark advance between the coils, but the timing curve was done after measuring the cylinder pressures. Rod bearings are in the prototype stages.
      Head flow is not so much of a concern (there is lots of "head"), as the boost levels are still relatively low, once you get a different blower and much lower intake temperatures. Getting more air supplied is what's currently worked on.

    What type of fuel and how much boost is used in these alision engines??

    • @WWPTV
      @WWPTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Methanol and about 30 psi

  • @Kincentc
    @Kincentc 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    WOW! So many questions. Is that the biggest Allison collection? What fuel do they run in them? Max rpms?

    • @WWPTV
      @WWPTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure it is "the biggest". They run on methanol - and up to 5200 rpm with that twin package on the Mitas Edition.

      Oh absolutely!! Heck, I'm sure Ralph Banter would approve (especially their gear bices, etc. 😊) -- they were big block Chevy guys, but nonetheless, totally agree w/ ya!
      I am pretty sure Art's Green Monster is still around and being ran isn't it..? (The turbine one he made to initiate the look of a top fuel car? Thing would be such a blast to.drive (sitting that far forward..!) I ALWAYS loved seeing that tractor in person as a kid!! I am glad I even got to, but yeah, great stuff!!
