Hey man, really like your videos. I just noticed the American flag is displayed incorrect. Nothing personal, I'm just an old Jarhead. When hanging on a wall, the stars are always on the top left when viewed. Semper Fi.
Nice Video.....agree.....you made some great points. There is some junk and great quality aftermarket parts. Doing too much with cosmetics can really mess up the aesthetics of a truck.
I couldn’t agree more with the 3ft of tire poke on some of these fellers rigs. Of course there’s no way it can go thru PA state inspection like that 🫢. I definitely don’t like bed stacks that belch black clouds and covers the rest of the truck in soot.
The FX4 decal is a must delete. I drove from dealer straight to my wrap guy and had it removed. Looks awesome without it...looks cheap with it. Just my opinion. Love your videos though...keep them coming.
I agree with you on all 5 ! I am conservative, I like what you have done to yours . Hold on to it as Ford’s prices have gone through the roof . They also have deleted a number of items they cant seem to get from their vendors .
My man’s got more toys in his shop them my kids do in my house! 😂 don’t mind me, just a little jelly! You right about the lights, if I had factory led lights I wouldn’t of changed them. But I had cheap ole halogen housings. Good vid brother. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
props to this guy for not hating on other people's builds. If i was making this type of video I would probably title it "If your truck has any of these mods it's trash" 😂😂😂
Mine is a 2022 F250 and I have rust problems. I need to address first but I did buy rear wheel liners, mudflats and I choose to put the 2 wheel valance not the tremor and just wanted to look more stock
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA yes I saw it it’s a shame we spend $70k + for rust they took care of the body making it aluminum but dropped the ball on the drive train. And I don’t dare let anyone fix it. I want it done right
@@tominaklan9702 I will check Hammers video out. I have always used Rust-Oleum brown primer (after light sanding) then follow up with Rust-Oleum gloss black which turns satin to matte after driving in rain a couple of times. Paint applied with a brush...great coverage...a pain...but easier setting axles on jack stands and removing rims and tires. The brush marks disappear in a few days. In addition, I have removed the shocks...sanded then had a friend who owns a body shop base and clear coat Oxford White (color of pervious Super Duty trucks). I now have a 2022 F350 Lariat Tremor - Carbonized Gray and plan to install a Carli suspension in the future.
There are some ebay/Amazon parts I would never put on my truck. I owned a Tundra and I really liked it but once I "to me" moved up to a superduty it was a huge upgrade in quality.
I agree except for the FX4 stickers. The FX4 option cost like $450 and consisted of skid plates ($100) and something else that was maybe $150 so having the FX4 sticks means you paid like $200 for the stickers. My truck only has the 4x4 stickers with the other FX4 options and saved the $200. The red 4x4 stickers look good on my Atlas Blue truck but I can see other colors, particularly red, where they look like some odd extension of the tail lights. As for chrome, more please.
FX4 includes skid plates, shock absorbers, and hill descent control. On my truck it was a $400 option (more now). Think it's one of the more reasonably priced options compared to others for the price.
@The Roy Boys No different shocks in 22. Maybe in prior years. Hill Decent control can be turned on in Forescan and then maybe $30 for the button. HD only works to 20 MPH anyway, so no thanks. I'll use the diesel engine breaking.
@Squanto9 I'm not sure on the shock differences...thats just what was listed. I haven't seen where the skid plates could be had for $100 now... plus the cost of your time for the install should be considered. As far as the HDC...in the instances HDC would be used (for example, holding 5mph descending a logging road), the benefit of engine braking would be negligible and vice-versa. They're kind of two different beasts...although I do use the engine braking significantly more on a day to day basis.
I totally agree with you 💯 % could not have said it better. Taking all your chrome off is crazy and besides chrome in 2023 is now back in. Went to sema this year here in vegas and most of all the custom trucks were loaded with chrome especially wheels. I went to discount tire to buy some 35 Falken tires and noticed all the display wheels were chrome asked my sales guy and he said Black is out and chrome is back in black had a good run for like 7 years hell I had black rims on my jeep grand cherokee too. Don't get me wrong I like the black wheels but on silver gray or white especially white chrome looks better in my opinion. I'm with you I leave all my badging on I'm proud to own a Ford I want people to see it's a ford pickup. I think maybe guys with chevy or dodge truck's should be taking off their badging...Just kidding! I love chevy and dodge I just happen to own Ford right now. I also think your right on with the wheel spacing too if it's your everyday driver leave it alone don't need to be kicking up rocks and everyone else's ride and cracking their windshields. Great video Hammerdown.
No colored undercarriage lights on my 2022 F350 Lariat 7.3L - UP - BAP - Tremor Package with Warn 12,000 LB winch. My truck is used to tow gooseneck and bumper pull trailers.......and it gets off-road in the mud and snow. It is not a Jeep Wrangler, but the truck can go several places when needed.....but never around brush and trees to get scratched up.
Awesome truck, love the vids, but you have to turn your flag over. The blue field with the stars is supposed to be in the upper left corner when hanging from a wall. Thanks
I recommend you to change the cold side intercooler pipe when you can mine crack too times already and my truck has only 37000 k 😊

Appreciate you watching I will definitely fix that
I agree, except it looks like it might be viewable from both sides. I'm not sure what's behind it, but it might be another room.
The other side is outside the window
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA Yeah, I see that in a later part of the video. Nevermind.
Nice Video.....agree.....you made some great points. There is some junk and great quality aftermarket parts. Doing too much with cosmetics can really mess up the aesthetics of a truck.
Agree with you 100 %.
Your truck looks awesome just the way you have it set up right now or the time of this video....

I couldn’t agree more on a lot of your point. Especially the low rider look with massive offset and low profile tires on a TRUCK.
Love your videos! I couldn’t agree more with everything you said! Your truck is probably one of my favorites of all the people I watch on TH-cam.
Thank you I appreciate that
Agree on all 5! One specific one I hate is lowered trucks. Oxymoron

The FX4 was the first thing I took off of my 2022 F-450 Never intend to go off road.

Yeah the steel it has been on for a year with no prep and still like when I put it on

I agree on everything. The only thing I wish Chevy would have done on my duramax would have been to black out the red on the Z71.
I did upgrade my headlights to morimoto led amber lights but I'm not doing nothing crazy. I like the tremor / raptor look

They really do cheapen the look of the truck.
Any suggestion on cold air intake for 3.5 eco. Do they make a difference
I have not done one on the 3.5 I hear S&B makes a nice one for it

I feel like anyone who gets the giant offset is just someone I will never understand or get along with on a fundamental level haha
Hey, what brand of a bed cover you running?? Looks sweet
Mine is from @roughcountry
Never make your truck look like a glow stick

How’d you get the F350 logo white?? Looks badass
Thanks it’s the recon light up badges
Nice into buddy
Thanks buddy
Hey Arod
Have you ceramic coated your paint, if not do you plan too ?
Awesome truck, love the vids, but you have to turn your flag over. The blue field with the stars is supposed to be in the upper left corner when hanging from a wall. Thanks
Appreciate you watching, and yes I have the flag fixed now
Most important thing when doing mods on your SD is know when to stop!
BTW...7.3 doesn't come with badges
That’s how we know it’s not a diesel
Love ypur video!
Let's say stock is fine....... to a point... don't go extremely crazy.
If someone doesn't like chrome, they can buy the very cheapest Kia, because they have no chrome. Like any CHEAP LOOKING vehicle would.
Lose the cartoonish 4 x 4 stickers on the rear quarter panel. Every truck manufacturer puts those nasty things on, they look cheap and they are cheap.
I like them FX4 Nation
