Maybe I did not understand it correctly, but if you mean reducing the number of polys and verts, I would ask why you need that. A text field does not contain too many verts and turning it down can make it look uneven and ugly. However, in case you do need, you can do that by using a decimate modifier (use the planar option and use an octave suitable for your purpose, maybe 6 or above).
If you export it outside Blender, I think the bloom effect won't get exported with it, only the model and the base material will be exported. So the neon effect won't be visible anyway. This is a limitation in Blender (and other software as well). They are not very export friendly.
Cycles rendering may be perfect but it is also painfully slow. On the other hand, Eevee rendering may not be perfect but, with a little bit of movie magic trickery, looks good enough. Good enough was all that I needed! :) Thanks! Liked and subscribed!

But with the new version of Cycles, you can now set a time limit in the render settings, so Blender will give you whatever best it can do within the given time. It is a nice trade-off between quality & performance, however, Eevee is still faster.
@@5MinutesBlender If we are talking about a still shot, Cycles can be a viable option. However, if you are doing an animation, forget it. I did a 600 frame animation that would take 2 days rendering time on Cycles but it toke 6 min on Eevee.

Hi, if the render is pinkish, it is an indicator that some file is probably misplaced. It may be the texture file used for the wall, it may be your HDRI file, or it may be another file for some other texture in your scene. Whenever some file is missing, Blender renders it with pink. Please check your texture files and HDRI. Please let me know if that is not the case, or if fixing that does not solve the issue. Hey, since this is an animation, the best way to send it to someone is by making a short animation video. You need to go to the Output tab, and render the output as FFMPEG video. Then it will generate a simple mp4 or mkv file which you can send to anyone. If you need any help on that, you can check our tutorial th-cam.com/video/6JvWAQIZQZE/w-d-xo.html from 4:21 onward for a quick setup. There is another tutorial th-cam.com/video/3ScV-TUBXFM/w-d-xo.html where many different output settings are discussed. I hope it helps.

Hi, the bloom color should be close to what you used for the text material. Bloom is basically an exaggeration of the light already being emitted by the base object, so technically it cannot be different from the base text color. We used 0.35 because that is similar to what we had used for the text material. In your case, it may be different. Having said that, sometimes the base color and the bloom color together can create a nice color in between the two and it looks awesome as well. Everything depends on the surrounding. Choose a color that suits your environment, that makes the neon text standing out vivid and glowing.
