The Kataragama Devalaya or Shrine is a place I always try and visit when I am in Sri Lanka. I've done so throughout my lifetime and it is one of my favourite places to visit in Sri Lanka. It is definitely off the tourist path and the beaten track! It is a beautiful place, in my opinion and together with the Kiri Vehera Temple in the vicinity, it is well worth a visit.

50+ years. That's how long I've been around, looking for that one thing to bring a sense of calm. I'm Nishan, and starting this channel I realised experiences & travel is what energises me! Until recently I lived solely for work.
