Kosgoda Turtle Haven: Protecting Sri Lanka's Wildlife
Join me on an incredible eco-tourism adventure at the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project in the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. In this travel vlog, we dive deep into the world of sea turtles in Sri Lanka, uncovering the efforts of wildlife conservation and the passionate individuals behind it.
Experience the magic of the turtle hatchery in Kosgoda, where the delicate process of hatching and caring for endangered turtles unfolds. This vlog not only showcases the hatchlings but also the conservation methods that are essential for their survival. Learn about the challenges and triumphs of turtle rescue in Sri Lanka, and see how this initiative is a beacon of hope for marine life conservation.
As a travel vlogger, I'm thrilled to bring you along to explore the daily operations and the incredible commitment of the local experts dedicated to animal conservation in Sri Lanka. We'll explore the hatchery, witness the careful nurturing of injured adults, and though we would have liked to have witnessed the release of healthy turtles back to the ocean, we did not have time to come back on the required day this time.
Understand why Sri Lanka's wildlife conservation efforts are critical in the global fight to protect these ancient mariners. The Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is not just a sanctuary; it’s a lifeline for the endangered turtles and an inspiring model for sustainable travel in Sri Lanka.
By supporting places like the Kosgoda sanctuary, we contribute to a brighter future for our planet's wildlife. So, come along and discover how eco travel and responsible tourism can make a real difference in wildlife conservation.

What I Think of Travelling By Train Overnight from Abisko to Stockholm

What I Think of Travelling By Train Overnight from Abisko to Stockholm
That spiral staircase looks horrifying to me. I’m afraid of heights but would love to see the view up there.
I feel so sorry for you, you have such a tough job, LOL!
Good video. Can you buy a return ticket from a to b and back from b to a? Or just single tickets for each journey? If Im standing at a bus stop how do I buy a ticket, or is the Dot app better in such cases? Thanks
Just found your videos/channel today. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I hope to travel from the US to my ancestral city, Ribe, in the future. This is helping me so much ❤
Good video ; was very useful!
It would've been nice to know what time it was when you showed how dark it was out there. Most of us do not know the time or how long it stays light or dark in that country.
I just found your channel on TH-cam and I will be going to Copenhagen in February. Thank you for your wonderful videos! May I ask: where did you purchase the Seed Snapper? I will be staying near St Peter’s and Hart bakery so I’m excited to try some pastries!
Why so heavy gear??? You dont need a kajka and fjällräven tent.. my big three are lighter than your kajka..
Fun video, thanks for sharing
excellent information, thank you for going to the trouble to explain the system to us!
Very helpful, thank you!
Where to buy Rejsekort card for the first time ?? I will be staying for one month and will be using daily either metro or S train. So kindly advise is Rejsekort card is correct choice ???
The pastries looked good. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much! Very useful and clear explanation of the options and how to use the tickets / card!
What the hell are you carrying to get 23 KG backpack?!? Should be around 10-12KG fo this trip
extremely useful video it really made my visit easy.
Thanks for this video, it's helping me plan my honeymoon!
Thank you for your advice. The information and instructions 👍🏼
great video. wish you would not make that sound like you are sucking something. BUT great video! Best on Copenhagen. GREAT advice. Thank you!
Yum!!!
Fab tips and fun to watch before our trip!! Than, you, tak!!🎉
Thanks for this Nish! I’m heading to Copenhagen, for the first time, in December. Quick question please…. I’m diabetic but will be treating myself to one Danish pastry whilst there. I love pistachio, cinnamon and raspberry….. with that in mind, which bakery/danish would you recommend if you had to choose one?
Spandauer ( the Vets bad eye ), fødselsdags kringle, and Rosenbrød is missing og your list. Kærnemælks horn og berliner Van kuchen is also a must. Thankyou for the guidet tour.❤
Thanks for this information. Coming for three days. It’s possible to hand in the card back on my departure and get refund like Oyster in London ?
That was so helpful, thank you!
Your video is really helpful, Thank you so much. I'm planning to visit Copenhagen in the next few months
Small update, there is an app for rejsekort now, you don't need the card, might make it more cost effective than using the citypass. Lovely video, very informative.
We will be in Copenhagen and stay at Profilhotels Copenhagen Plaza, What do you recommend to take? Thank you in Advance.
Great effort and wonderful information. Thank you.
Can you tell me where to get metro train card? How can a first timer buy train tickets?
Great video, thank you! One question, how do you check inn and check out if you use the cell app?
@@leslier9417 I'd like to know the answer, too.
If I have only 4:30 hours(layover), I only use the metro from the airport to the city center and city center to the airport. What would be the most cost effective cost?
5:10 those are not winter markings, they are snowmobile trail markings. Nice video, I’m Swedish and I haven’t done the Fjällräven Classic yet, but looking into doing it next year’s vacation. Really nice video!
Don't eat like an uncultured man.
I received a fine on the bus for an outdated ticket. I lost the ticket. Does anybody know who i contact to get a new copy of the fine? Thanks.
Very good and useful video
Wonderful video. Thank you so much!
33:08 It looks like it's hanging way to low on your back and shrugs your shoulders. About 80% of the weight should be on the hipbelt... ;) I also have a Kajka 75 litre, which I am super happy with. The hip belt supports really well when you have many (too many) kilos in your backpack.
30:45 It's rapeseed...
Nice video... My son and I was a day ahead of you. It was raing cats and dogs at the first stop. We were soacking wet eating frikadeller and cake. Luckily we could sit Indore... :D Thanks for the recap... We are going again next week... :)
Copenhagen have a very small Metro, but it also have S-Train wich is like MEtro but above the ground and 1000 times more flexible then Metro, and You also have regional and intercity trains that you can use if they stop within the zones you have ticket for. Your ticket work on all transport even bus, so you dont need a new ticket as long you are travelling within your zones. Zones can be confusing without a zone map, but you will find Zone map on most train stations glued to ticket machine or somewhere near, or ask for zone map in information, download it on phone and when buying a ticket from destination A to destination B you pay automatically for all needed zones. Copenhagen Metro is almost useless if you know how to use S-Train and bus, because that way you will be dropped off exactly at your destination and dont have to do any walking and wondering where to go.
Nice video, but I saw it just now. When Ilived in Copenhagen before I moved to Bangkok I had another option: Walking from the airport as I lived close to Lergravsparken metro station! Did it not often, but sometimes. And sometimes I took the E-bikes provided by "Bycyklen", but that option vanished in 2022 as had to find out when I came for a visit in 2023. Copenhagen is nice with public transport...but not my place.
Hi! Just found your channel and subscribed too. Thanks for this helpful video as we will be in Copenhagen later in the year. By the way, is there any direct bus/train from cruise terminal to the airport?
Very helpful. Thank you.
Smørebrød (open faced sandwich). Go to the Restaurants that are specialized in making them. They make them fresh to order and you get a bigger bang for your buck, and there just better.... ! I recommend "Kanal Cafeen", "Schønnemanns" or "Sorgenfri". Those are old School places. Otherwise go to "Aamans" (new School). When we Danes want to treat our selfs to a nice and good peace of "Smørrebrød", we do not go a place where it has been made beforehand and kept in some kind of "display case" 🤣 ! Not saying that "Hallernes Smørrebrød" is bad, but there ripping you off. Not fresh to order and the sizes are ridiculous compared to real Smørebrød Restaurants. Just Sayin...😎
19:34 Great video, Nomad, thanks. Question: We’re staying in Herlev, outside zone 1, so will use 2 trips per day from there, along with using the metro in the central area. Is it worth getting the large pass? Or just get the small and pay single ticket for the 4 day commute? Thanks!
Just the information that I need, right to the point, very detail and informative. really apprecriate it., look forward to your other videos. thanks again!!!
Thanks for posting. Pastries in Copenhagen are called ‘Viennabrod’
Merci! Explications très claires!
You must be aware that inspectors are on from the airport and towards the city in order to collect fines from tourists who do not have the correct ticket. I was checked twice in the Metro on the way home from the airport. It has become a money machine against expanding tourists. The fine is DKK 750 per person.
