Omg this worked. I’m so happy and mechanics told me it was everything but the relay I said was the thermostat they said it was the fan belt or TH-cam. The easiest way is first before I took it in my pants start working and my car😊 stop overheating so grateful.

My relay was gone so fan was permanent live. I just removed/replaced the fuse each time I got in/out. Now the fan doesn't come on at all. Does this mean the fan motor has now burnt out? I've checked the fuse is fine, and bridged and there is still power supply so guessing it is the fan motor gone now?
My heater fan in my 1998 Ford Explorer has completely stopped working. For a while, it would work, then stop working, then work again, and now it has completely quit working. Could this be a relay issue, or is it the dial type heater fan switch that has failed ?

Easy life hack: Swap cooling fan relay and power window relay. You will then be able to control the speed of your fan with the up and down switch previously used for your windows and your windows will automatically roll down when it gets hot. Win Win

Not always true. We get shorts in connections and wires themselves. So don't go replacing the fan or window motor until you trace the wires.

I tried a new fan, checked fuses and relays, and still no luck. Radiator fans wouldn't power on.
