The year was 2012 and I went through a bad breakup and in my heartache I listened to his solo work and stuff with guillemots and tweeted about it. Somehow he found my tweet and sent me a link to watch Mr Blobby. Promised it would make me laugh and when I said I didn't believe in love, his exact words to me where “och tanya, it's always there”. Little old nobody me got messages of hope and support from Fyfe dangerfield. It really helped. Man is an angel.
I met Fyfe on Wednesday at a secret gig at Hard Rock Manchester, he is such a nice guy and amazingly talented. He was saying how he hadn't dressed for the occassion but I definitely think he carries off the scruffy look rather well!
Just discovered Fyfe, and honestly I'm so glad I did. What a wonderful voice, you can just feel so much emotion behind it and it's just an indescribable feeling.
Every time I hear this song it reminds me of the episode of “House” that used this song. The early 2000’s were a crazy time in my life, but Dr. House was always there, through all of the hard times. Sometimes I get sad thinking that they’ll never bring the show back, even though they could do the early years, or House as an old man. But as long as I have songs like this to remind of the times when there was still new episodes being released, I’ll be okay.
LOL I don't know that this song are used in a ep of Dr House... u.u now a lot of persons meet to fyfe...xD Fyfe and the most beautiful songs..he .have a beautiful voice!!
@BuddahUK You could not be more right, every great but un-recognised song just gets used by the media without giving the artist any proper recognition.
@BuddahUK they wont if they got any sense. They promoting factory karaoke shite over musicians, so they'll keep Fyfe at arms length in case the masses suddenly realise they don't have to be told what shit to listen to. Saw him do a live acoustic set last night, one of the best 2 or 3 gigs i ever been to, he was amazing
Arsehole TV producers will use this on stuff like the X Factor when like sob stories or when someone gets booted off. You can just see it. Hope not, lovely song.
Ouf.
Les frissons dans tout le corps.
