Thank you for sharing your perspective on the big decision to move to another country. The one comment I would like to make is to raise your child (maybe "children" later...) to not forgot her roots such as mother-tongue and culture. It would be too easy to forget these when living in a non-native country. Still, exposure to a different environment will enrich her life. There will be challenges but hopefully the benefits far out-weigh them. All the best and take care!
Welcome to Malaysia !!! Pls include your next trip to Kuantan, Pahang. Btw, in Pahang you may consider to visit Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Lanchang, eating musang king durian in Raub or visit Lembah Temir Resort in Raub, stay at Bidaisari Resort in Janda Baik, visit english theme cottage at Fraser Hill, eating ikan patin tempoyak or patin paes at Temerloh, eating river prawn or udang galah at Laban Chondong in Rompin, also jungle adventure at our National Park or Taman Negara Malaysia in Jerantut, beautiful beaches such as Pantai Cherating or Teluk Chempedak or Pantai Batu Hitam or Pantai Sepat in Kuantan, eating famous Murtabak Mengkasar in Pekan, climb newly launched Tower 188 in Kuantan, or visit cold highland places in Fraser Hills or Janda Baik or Bukit Tinggi Genting Highlands or Cameron Highlands. You can also spent the nights and snorkeling at islands such as Pulau Tioman, Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Kapas. Also lots of foodies to try out such as ikan patin gulai tempoyak, patin paes, otak-otak, sata, mee calong, nsai dagang, nasi minyak, nasi kerabu, cendol and lots more to try and experience in Pahang! See you soon....
@@familybear Unlike Singapore, a child of a foreign parent that was born in this country is not a citizen. But, it can be applied after the child reached the majority age and in the event he/she continuously resides in Malaysia. But it depends on the achievement of the child and whether he/she has contributed anything to the betterment of the country. For foreigners and their siblings, Malaysian citizenship is rather a gift than a right.
Nary is too cute like her mother. You should speak with her Bahasa Melayu as well since most Malaysian can speak at least Bahasa Melayu, English, and the mother tongue language.
I really agree with the defective online products! I always check review first thing first after interested in certain products. If the review is fine, I would proceed, but if it's not, better not to make a hasty decision. Also, it's better if you purchase expensive things like electronic devices at physical stores. It has more vary choices and there's staffs to help you pick one depending on your budgets. Goodluck!
The COVID situation is going into new endemic phase. While for visa concerns should be no problem. The japanese expat in Malaysia definitely will help you out. In time you can apply for PR. Hope you stay in Malaysia. It's chill living here. But yeah your concern of high accident rates doesn't seem to change anytime soon or well into the future.

Nice video. Maybe one thing that is difficult for Japanese is the high price of alcohol and cigarettes in Malaysia. But they really are not good for your body, mind and wallet. So you should consider to totally stop drinking and smoking and live a happier life. Wish you a happier life in Malaysia.
wish you and family is happy and safe. yes of course foreigner need work permit and visa but is the same for Malaysian who stayed in foreign countries overseas. best of luck 👍🏻
I think better to get all Japanese opinions about any problems & bring it to upper level to fixed it not just for japanese but for Malaysian also ex: accident cases..
We are a peaceful country with nice weather and you can easily travel to nearby countries with very low costs too.Cost of living is so cheap here and we are multi cultural and tolerant to other races
I've been watching a ton of videos about relocating to other countries, and sometimes I've been baffled by the shallowness of some (Western) expats. What a difference in your case! As it's to be expected from a Japanese, yours is such a profound, humane and sensitive view on this subject. Heartfelt congrats! Arigatou gozaimashita! Ganbare! ^____-
One parent speaks Japanese all the time when interacting with Nary & the other speaks one other language. Please don't quarrel when picking the languages 😆 At cook to order F&B places you can tell them 'tak nak pedas'. I don't know if this option is available when you order online 😌
To quit drinking for good is the best thing for her husband.. Drinking can damage his health and its an expensive to drink alcohol when you start to become addicted to it.. its better to save the money for the kid’s welfare and the wife.. By the way have you found any jobs or are you working right now?
