I just got a precut quilt. I’m equal parts excited, and intimidated. Cutting is still difficult for me so I’m excited that’s all taken care of! The flip side is, I’ve never made flying geese, so I immediately shuddered! The downside to a kit is you have no spare fabric if you really mess something up. I have only made a very beginner baby sized quilt with a friend who has 30 plus yrs experience helping me. I hoped this would be one I could easily do on my own, and may still try. I will be practicing flying geese on scraps using a tutorial before I start though!
@@michelleswistak1389 oh I already screwed it up. Haha. I have o e piece of the first block about 1/4 inch smaller than the rest of them. Not sure what happened not there’s several elements that went into that specific piece so I’m guessing I was just off on each element. My friend is going to look at it but not sure if it’s can fix it without other fabrics. 🤦🏻♀️
My RA in my hands as progressed to the point that cutting my quilt pieces can be extremely difficult, so the precut quilt kits have allowed me to still do my quilting.

I don't like the sandwitching part. I have to do it on my bed so it is hard to make sure there are no wrinkles.😢
So completely agree with you, that is the hardest part for me.
