      I believe you have more wiggle room than the Limitless. They really did put effort into designing this

      @@MatrixRC yeah my boy Nick Steele and his boy had a lot of input on this design...

      Definitely, for the Drag Races. That would help. 👍🏽🤔 How can I get one?

    Beautiful hobao, who makes those body post buttons?

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They're just hood pins for actual cars. Amazon.

    • @turbo77
      @turbo77 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MatrixRC just found them from your older video, how do they hold up on high speed and impact?

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did 114mph as a test and it held on. But honestly it's not reliable. I read the reviews on these and sure enough I had experienced the same issues of the hood pins coming out. It's a great idea though and innovative. I discovered a fix and I haven't had no more issues. I planned on sharing when I get to my HoBao speed run series schedule.

      @@MatrixRC oh ok, thanks for the insight. Thought buying a vte2 soon. Already had a limitless

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your going to love it. I would just use the body post from an Arrma Kraton or something to have more room adjusting the body height and stuff. That was one of my annoying issues. But you have a Limitless should have some spare parts in the bag.

    Looks good. But you will snap that motor shaft bro.

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You didn't hear me say I have a better driveshaft? I haven't had many issues with the aluminum tracxas driveshaft. I only see people have issues when they are putting down more power than the car is set up for. It's been 2 years and replaced once.

    • @HJESR
      @HJESR 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MatrixRC bro I said motor shaft. Lol all 👍🏼 good nice build. We talking about the vte2 not Traxxas. Read your post bro

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh my mistake. My cousin snapped one and it was stock out the box. But ive been very fortunate. I raced a lot of people with this stock system and won. But we'll see. What makes you think that it will snap though?

  • @meda2ni
    @meda2ni 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice comparison bro. Not sure I would prefer bigger cans than the 1721-2400kv one. 1721-2400kv seems to be the fastest motor out there.. (other than having FUN;)) What was your intension on switching up to a bigger cans?

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You probably missed it. But this was just to display the fitment qualities between the two type of Castle Motors which most people are going to use.

    Hi Matrix , just so I'm understanding you the 1717 ( 47.6) 1650kv motor will not fit onto the big block mount?
    Thanks

    • @MatrixRC
      @MatrixRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. The motor shaft is going to touch the 1/5 scale mount when you try to bolt it on.

    • @1521joe
      @1521joe 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MatrixRC thanks. I've just ordered a rotor lock motor mount from scorched parts UK, it will accommodate the 1717 motor, and anything upto 49mm. Will post a video when it gets here and installed.
