Too Kyo Games one of the developers, it's made by ex Spike Chunsoft devs, the artist and creator of Danganronpa are one of the creators of this company

I was really hyped when it was originally announced, but the gameplay trailers just make it look like Zenless Zone Zero but with Danganronpa-style characters. Had high expectations for this game, but it ultimately ended up being a disappointment before it even released. "Will also be available on IOS & Android" was the last nail in the coffin for me tbh. Edit for clarification: I am NOT at all saying that they copied Zenless Zone Zero, but the combat is undeniable similar in both visuals and mechanics. Edit 2 for more clarification: I feel the need to specify that my biggest issue with the game is the fact that it's going to be a free-to-play game with microtransactions, instead of a full priced console game. I don't have a problem with free-to-play games with microtransactions, but I was hoping this game would be more than that.

I liked some of the "Tales of" games, but I don't really see any of the aspects that I enjoyed from the "Tales of" series reflected in ZZZ or in this game.

@symphonixblades The creator had to take out a loan because the company spent all their money on The Hundred Line - Last Defense Academy -, so now they're in debt and riding on their next games to be huge successes. And since this is news from this summer, I'd say your doubts due to Rain Code are kinda moot now.
The pixel exploring looks great! However, the action combat levels and animation are really lacking imo. Looks so bland and not impactful hope they fix that.
looks nothing like Genshin, it isn't even open world. Also Genshin was NOT the first gacha game. This game has no similarity with Genshin. As for the Danganronpa claim is made by the Danganronpa creator company (Too Kyo Games) together with Akatsuki Games (which will be the publisher)
