Thank you so much. 🙏 I am a college student and was working with one window with the rest down at 40 degrees found this video you saved my freakin butttt‼️ if you are reading this it worked on my 2007 Honda Accord I’m 19 and did it you can to‼️
I really appreciate you making this video you save me quite a bit of money and aggravation I was having a really hard time hookshotting newspapers from the driver side window I bet I looked like a goon thanks again man very very helpful
@@bxdubs5577 I THINK THERE IS ONE MORE SIMPLE SOLUTION IS. YOU NEED A SWITCH BUTTON ON THE JUMBER WIRE IF YOU ARE NOT USING POWER WINDOWS ALL THE TIME . DISCONTINUE THE JUMPER BY SIMPLY SWITCHING OFF WITH BUTTON. AND I HOPE THIS WILL NEVER KILL YOUR BATTERY THATS WILL NEVER KILL YOUR BATTERY
I usually don't post on the comments but, This was a100% working hack for my 2006 Accord. All my windows work again. Excellent video my friend. Hats off to ya!!
Several years ago I installed a jumper wire and all windows worked fine. Fast forward to 2023; the car is not operated on a daily basis and the battery now runs down after a few days of non use. After much aggravation and testing I found that this repair creates a parasitic electrical draw of almost a full amp. Removing the installed wire dropped the draw to about 19 milliamps which is normal. If you don['t use your car daily I would recommend replacing the switch.
YES. It will add about 700 milliamps draw. If you use the car daily it probably won't be a problem but if it sets 4 or 5 days you may experience a dead battery. I just discovered this the hard way.
@@bxdubs5577 I did something similar and it did drain the battery over time. I replaced the window switch with a junkyard switch and fixed the problem. No dead battery and the windows work as designed. It was ~$70 for switch, but for my situation it was worth it.

This video show me I can just replace the motherboard now my windows work thank you! But in the process when I tested by bypassing the circuit my car shut off and now my car key no longer starts the car as I don't know what to do, anyone's got any ideas please...
But sir… you never show how to remove the whole switch from the door… and that’s the most risky part of fixing this switch. Please if somebody know about a video that shows how to take off the whole switch from the door… Thanks.

The window lock out button failed on my `07 Accord sedan. I followed the steps in your video and it now works perfectly. Thanks!!
Did this drain your battery?
@@bxdubs5577 No battery draw issues that I’ve noticed. It’s only been 1 week since the repair. I haven’t done a draw test either.

Any parasitic draw issues since doing this fix? I just did this and didn't read the comments before, lol.@@GspeedR

When yours failed was it all the passenger windows? I’m running into that on my 05 right now.
Yes, none of the passenger windows worked prior to this fix. Only the drivers window went up and down. @@sethboggs3058
It was the the button being not pressed the whole time ! Thanks dude
Does that connection drain the battery while your cars off?
Yes it does. Beware
Whats the official fix? I read that this drains the batteries
Any chance have you made a video for the driver side don’t work but other three do
If youre worried about batterh draw just use a relay and wire it up where it gives ground to white/green wire on the accessory position
Worked perfectly thank you guy
Where do y'all get the wire from ?
2006 Acura tsx yess it worked thank you
Is assistance from the cat optional?

Did you get everything from harbor freight? I have one within walking distance is why I ask
my driver side window isn’t working but the other 3 are working so what’s my issue
Super bien amigo me ayudó muchísimo, thank you very much!!!!
Ddddd
Clever solution but is this creating a parasitic draw on the battery?
Came here to figure out the same thing
YES. It will add about 700 milliamps draw. If you use the car daily it probably won't be a problem but if it sets 4 or 5 days you may experience a dead battery. I just discovered this the hard way.
is it draining battery?
Apparently nobody wants to answer that 1 lol

Does that repair work for all windows including the driver?
He clearly said that if the driver side works and the other 3 dont work then to try this. If this is not ur case not to even try
Really perfect ❤
My rear right size wont roll down or upp can i do that to????
I don't think so, must be a dead window motor
THANK YOU!!!!!
Little off topic, but has anyone told you that you sound like Ernie from Sesame Street?
How come there is no video about 2008
Worked on my 07 Odyssey
Checked board on 2006 honda accord, was a open trace on board, reconnected works again
What do you mean? How did you find the open trace? Thanks!
@@YahirVergara took the circuit board out examine under magnifier, checked with ohmmeter, reconnected with thin wire and reinstalled and it worked

I have the definitive solution! It does not affect the car's battery

Passenger side door window wont go up
Wait!! Get out of the way!! $129.99 for a no-name compound saw!!! 😮
Can I send this to u to fix. U can make a business out of this. Only issues with this generation beside the burning oil disappearance.

Did you try it? It worked in the video
