    Loved hearing you talk about getting lost in the project and losing track of time. I'm fairly new to the hobby and have been coming to your tutorials again and again over the last year. It's wonderful to know that even after decades of effort, the joy remains.

    Going to be honest, Ninjon's vibrant colors photograph very well. I'm not sure that just going off images, that you've got em beat here! I really enjoy his palate, the colors really stay vivid even in most of the lighting he's using. Your red metal is slick as all heck though!

If you haven’t already tried it, the brightest fluo orange-red I have ever used is Lefranc & Bourgeois Flashe “Fluorescent Grenadine” from my “fine art” painting days. Everyone time inwatch you paint ser, i am mesmerised. Your brush is like a lost artifact, a magic brush that just gives the right colour and amount of paint.
    Serious question though. Is this mostly due to you mixing your pallete well? Like when you transition do you always mix what you left off on and add a touch of your new paint? If not that is it you only have a touch of paint on your brush? Any case lovely stuff as always mate.

    Hey Vince, what's your advice for people looking to paint armies to sell? As in do you think its logical for people to limit the time they spend painting the models in order to have a quicker turnaround? Or would you recommend doing your best possible paintjobs to grow as an artist even if you don't think you'll keep the models at the end.
    In my view I think painting it to the best of your ability is worth it but at the same time would it make people less likely to buy a highly polished paintjob for a higher price when given an option of a cheaper albeit less refined army.
    Would love to know your thoughts on this.

    • @VinceVenturella
      @VinceVenturella  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't know, I've never really sold my armies. My feeing is there is a point where your time will be wasted, because most people who are buying armies won't know the difference and/or be able to tell the difference. I think there is definitely a sort of tight rope you are trying to walk.

      @@VinceVenturella Thanks for the reply Vince. I've been looking into buying boxes, painting them up and selling them on for a hobby/bit of extra income. So far my take away is that I'd be making less than I would as a comission painter. But I still like to paint different stuff even if it doesn't make me any money . Thanks again
