I remember when I saw this scene for the first time, it made me so happy and surprised, I was also very amused by how Rigsby and Cho looked like children on a birthday 😂 Patrick thought of them and didn't buy anything for himself because he didn't need it, all the good things he wanted he already had with them as a family (and with the sofa and the tea haha). What fascinated me is how detailed he was for Lisbon and Van Pelt... he gives Teresa emeralds because they matched her eyes (in fact, he tells her later) and Grace rubies that matched her hair. A man to me gives me something like this and I am dying of love, not because of the gift but because of the attention to detail in it. 😍😍💕

The most reasonable explanation for your watch hand is that you put on the opposite of your main hand because it's more comfortable or easier to put it on with your main hand. Just like when you're clipping your nails it's easier to clip the opposite of your main hand.
